Back on the Toney Douglas bandwagon. He's playing well. Interesting question will be, if Lin comes back healthy during the playoffs, we have a fun problem at PG. Lin, Baron Davis, Toney Douglas, Mike Bibby. I'm interested to see if TD can play well enough to steal the backup PG slot from Baron. I don't think it's impossible. At any rate, it's another positive, because Baron was playing with more energy last night; I think he needs the pressure of competition at the PG spot.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

In all this TD love and cherries, did everyone miss that JR had 8 assists?

Wow those highlight vids with Nate and Gallo in them reminded me how long this TD guy's actually been here.
Nate the great seems like eons ago.
Thankfully rooster's fading into the rear view as well.

The Mark Of Zorro

jrodmc wrote:One, minute, Zorro is growling at the screen because TD's making pointless drives to the baseline and back out to the arc, and the next minute it's keep your head up son.

Toney Douglas made the nifty bounce pass to Tyson Chandler and Zorro started barking at the screen. He did not settle down in he fourth quarter. Something to do with JR Smith's wardrobe malfunction.

His pointless drives to the baseline and out to the arc ate up precious 4th quarter clock, albeit against an O-town that looked like it could give half a **** if TD took the ball and ran blacklines with it for 12 minutes.

Some of Toney's stupid Mjax teardrops actually dropped. Next time Jeremy Lin attempts one, he is getting yanked faster than you can say Mariano Rivera.

E'rybody Dougie!

DJMUSIC wrote:There are 2 simple reasons why the "Old" slow Mike Bibby should still play minutes & be
ahead of Toney Douglas for PG duties:

1). Toney Douglas is a Terrible passer OR basically cannot make a pass to save his NBA guard life
Mr Douglas whom I like off court cannot even make a pass at a girl

Toney fails to realize what gets him to stay on the basketball floor court is simple basketball basics
for some reason he doesnt know this or no one talks to Toney about making passes, playing the lanes on D'
going to basket instead of 20% FG jumpers he loves.

2) Douglas will break up the the Knicks schemes. He will break chemistry and not be a good floor decision person on the floor.
Poor Douglas. He is a nice guy but he just doesn't have it this season cause he feels his offense is the way out of his funk.

There's one factors here you seem to overlook: (right after my inability to count)

1) Toney Douglas has two working legs.
2) Toney Douglas has two working lungs.
3) All those people Bibby's supposed to pass to are running out of time at the other end of the court.

Unless they change the rules and let Bibby play in a jazzie running on nitrous, he's a lot more done than when TD's on a gurney in a hospital.
"You're new 2013 coaching staff, now featuring assistant Michael Bibby!"

How dare the answer man uses the Holylin and something like TD in the same sentence while typing without comprehension. Obviously I was referring to teardrops that actually dropped, otherwise they wouldn't be highlights. Heresy, man, heresy!

Zorro, heel boy. Turn the page for the answer man. Good dog.

Dancing With The Stars

jrodmc - you will be singing from a different hymnal after Toney Douglas drops 35 and 12 assists on the Bulls and becomes an international sensation when Rihanna is discovered waiting for him near the players entrance at The Garden.

Linsanity tshirts are suddenly moved to the deep discount rack at Modell's.

Somewhere, Jared Jeffries is smiling.
