I thought the reason for the winning streak was to post unattractive women.

that theory was destroyed along with the Borelando Tragic.

Woodson's return to the ATL... with a defensive monstrosity of a NYK team.

We have to make up for last Friday's debacle and bring this weeekend in on a GOOD note, while keeping this win streak going!

I am hoping for another blowout of a higher playoff seed. My beer will be cold and at the ready.

Any word on whether Lin will be back for tonight's game?

GO KNICKS!

Lin is out again.

This one's for Woody! I feel good about tonight. Unfortunately the one variable on this team is their motivation level. On the road vs. a playoff team, I'm confident in our guys.

Tomorrow night is the one I worry about being a trap.

Should We?

There is no such thing as a "should win" game.

The Atlanta Hawks have a superior record, are deep on the bench and are playing at home.

The New York fans in Philips will help create a better atmosphere than at most Hawks games, which border on the mundane.

Woodson and Hawks head coach Larry Drew are not on speaking terms as Drew sabotaged Woodson. Cool. There will be blood.

Nine of ten has a nice sound to it.

Beat Atlanta.

Why is that the "typical ATL Fan" is considered to be the worst in all sports? They seem to have solid teams: Hawks, Braves, Falcons etc...but just seems fan support is marginal to non-existent. Empty arenas, stadiums, etc. Is it the laidback, Southern hospitality, nonchalant, rather be out barbequing or going to clubs thing? Is it the "Hotlanta" vibe?

I agree lol. If we play better than them we SHOULD win.

A couple of other predictions:

1) If Knicks win a ring this year, Woodson keeps his job
2) If Novak plays well we will resign him
3) If Melo burns teams with ISO we sill keep doing it
4) If the knicks lose their remaining games woodson's job is in jeopardy

Ten Reasons Why Atlanta Fans Are Apathetic

10. The SEC is king in football in the South. The Falcons are a poor facsimile of Saturday traditions.

9. Ownership from Rankin Smith (original Falcons) to The Spirit Group (current Hawks) is not enlightened. Mom and Pop is more like it.

8. Listen for the cheesy, over-amped sound effects tonight. The crowd cannot compete with that, so they sit on their hands

7. Most sports fans, with disposable income in Atlanta, are from someplace else. Family loyalties die hard.

6. The Braves could have had an outfield of Jermaine Dye, David Justice and Andruw Jones. They traded them all.

5. The women are hot and dress for Hawks games like going to the nightclub. "Did you see that one?"

4. The teams, across the board, disappoint when it matters.

3. How many cities can claim losing TWO NHL franchises within three decades?

2. Four major sports. One championship in five decades. One. That was 1995.

1. Lack of passion, lack of tradition... did I mention the women are hot?

9. Ownership from Rankin Smith (original Falcons) to The Spirit Group (current Hawks) is not enlightened. Mom and Pop is more like it.

(Steve Belkin, one of the Spirit ownership group thought that making Joe Johnson a max player was a bad idea. He was sued by his partners. It was ugly. He was right)

And they thought Melo had bad body language! Joe Johnson on the Knicks would be a unmitigated disaster if he signed here before last season. Joe Johnson looks half asleep half the time and is widely known as one of the worst 4th quarter closers. He would get skewered in the NY media.

It seems that East of Texas and South of the Mason-Dixon line college sports rules everything and pro sports are more of an afterthought.

College Sports is great an all, but I just can't get into it like Pro Sports for some reason.
