Who do you root for more in that scenario that benefits the Knicks seeding better?

I could never root for boston....and its not just basketball....patriots, red sox...none of them, never. I actually like the city of philly very much, its like a smaller nyc...so if i was rooting for one of them it'd be the sixers...i'd rather eat cheese steak then beans :) besides, i think firstly, we have a better shot of making the playoffs if boston drops down out if the picture, then i'll start thinking more realistically about seeding

Fair enough, I feel the same way. Although I do like movies that are related to Boston: The Departed, The Town and The Fighter.

I guess some posters just like small breasted women.

As for the game, I'm thinking about how this team will handle the first loss. I like pretty much everything the coach and the team collectively have done in this win streak, but I want to see how they react when they get knocked on their arse, it'll happen eventually. Happens to everyone.

If there's one thing that runs through pretty much all the bad teams we've had since 02' is that they were mentally weak. I want to see this team show that they aren't going to fold when things get tough.

Having said that this is the most optimistic I've been that they can in a long time.

Good post about being mentally strong. I think it showed a lot when the Knicks fell behind to the 6ers the other night after leading the whole game. Earlier this season that's a game that could've gotten out of hand. But we responded with continued effort on D.

As for tonights game, they have to win. They need every winnable game left on their schedule. Each gaem from here on in has to be treated as a must win.

I guess some posters are just born pessimists.
And it's not the small bresses, it was the fat fugly fubared azz shots that were driving this game thread win streak.

That all said, isn't it a pretty sure thing that Toronto's tanking now for the lottery?

Still want to see this team not play down to a bad team's level. Pistons, Wizards, Cavs, Nets.... Can we just continue through what's left of the schedule destroying teams like these? That's what I'd like to [continue] see happen...

That, and closing out 25 - 0 the rest of the way! *snort* *huff* *gulp*

I agree that I was worried about the increase in quality of posteriors that have been posted the last couple of game threads. HOWEVER...perhaps as the Knicks streak grows so should the quality of the women?

One thing is for sure...my thread title's will only get worse.

I agree, that's one thing they haven't been able to do in a long time which is why I believe this is the best shot they have to turn things around. I want to see them do it after a loss, it will show that this turnaround is real.

Just an FYI: Game's at 7:00 tonight, not 7:30. Don't want to miss the 1st quarter.
EDIT: Nevermind, MSG's on top of it.

This seems like the perfect opportunity for a "let down" game. Hopefully it's not an issue for the new Knicks.

http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/knicks/post/_/id/14999/jeffries-says-mda-and-woody-aren%25e2%2580%2599t-that-different

It probably will get fixed by the time you read the story, here's a segment:

Jeffries sat out Friday's win against Toronto with a sore right knee after landing awkwardly in the third quarter last Wednesday night against Philadelphia. Jeffries said he will have an MRI Saturday and hopes to return to the lineup early next week. After playing Toronto Friday and Detroit Saturday, New York faces the surging Milwaukee Bucks and Monta Ellis on Monday before hosting Orlando on next Wednesday.

Apparently we already won!
