No, it's "Eli Town".

But Tebow adds some interesting excitement. If he can rally the Jets, he is doing something great.
Sanchez is probably already worrying because as soon as he flubs a game the fans will be chanting "Tee - bow"!

It's so good to be a Gints fan.

Pathetic move by a pathetic franchise. I guess Rex didn't have any pics of himself with sheep to post on Twitter, so they resort to this. And the idiot Jets act like they had this all planned out and "...know exactly how we want to use Tebow." Oh well, being relevant costs something.

Oh well, maybe the Mets can sign Manny Ramirez, and the Nets can get Shaq to unretire.

Don't agree with the hate this move is catching!

Jets had trouble moving the ball with the feet! Now they will have what is essentially an NFL running back that can also throw the rain drops if you need him to.

I think they will combine Sanchez and Tebow to form an unstoppable attack!

They missed Brad Smith last year--this is a good deal.

Does any team really get fooled by the Wildcat anymore? That thing died with that joke Sparano and the Dolphins 2 or 3 years ago...ARGHHH, forgot Jets hired Sparano FML!!!

The Jets offense played well when they inserted the Wildcat with Smith. I mean teams knew what was coming yet we were very successful with it. Sparano ran a lot of wildcat--I think with a Sanchez--it gives the team another look offensively and takes a little pressure off of Sanchez. Tebow is a perfect 4th round pick for the Jets--we can use him and we dont have to waste a pick on a back up. We know Tebow can start if needed and can run the Wildcat now. He also IMHO can play a wing back type position where he runs and goes out for passes at times. He is 6-3 245

I couldn't agree more. Great pickup. Plus he is actually a threat to throw unlike Smith who really wasn't a legitimate threat to throw. This could work out great, especially since Sanchez needs someone to push him.

If anything QB competition will only push Sanchez to work to keep his job. He better squash the beef with Santonio, or Tebow going to take his job.

I agree that Sanchez needs to step up but it Could back fire and create a toxic environment for him. The first bad game, the first interception, the crowd will be chanting for Tebow....Unfairly or no.

In a vacuum, sure. But for a team that just signed its embattled franchise quarterback to a large extension, I don't think it makes sense to create a quarterback controversy. Especially when one half of the controversy can't actually throw a football.

Hey Sanchez has to man up!!! He can't think he's always going to be the only option. Even the other backup we have is here to challenge him. No one should be comfortable. Competition is good.

Exactly! He needs to be held ACCOUNTABLE. There is that word again! It's worked for the Knicks why not the Jets.

There's a difference between being held accountable and being told you'll lose your job to a guy who can't throw a football. I'm a Giants fan and I would have been incredibly pissed if they had done something like this to Eli going into only his fourth year in the league.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come
