people here were miserable when they saw the nets got DWill - said we should have offered the Melo package for DWill instead. etc.

the beat goes on.

again - Melo is Dolan's prize posession - he's not going anywhere.

Just to be clear, you cant root for Melo because he's a diva and supposedly played a roll in forcing our coach to quit/resign. But, you think its a good idea to get Deron Williams, another diva who was accused of forcing Jerry Sloan to resign?

The difference is that D Will elevates the play of his teammates. So I can put up with his BS, although I wouldn't like it. Melo at best has no impact on and may even make his teammates worse. Worst case scenario, you let D Will walk and at least got rid of Melo's contract.

They've had about the same winning percentage as we have had in games with Melo playing.

I think they'd start both Lin and D Will. Lin would be the best shooting guard on the team.

The Nets will Dwill and a bunch of rookies and castoffs are right behind the knicks. had they had a healthy lopez they most likely would be ahead of us.

We still suck, btw.

Do we believe this rumor ?

Dwill a stud
then if true what does this show about MDA allegiance or loyalty to new PG J.Lin ? What was MDA going to do with Lin ?

Develop him with no rush!

Nash was 30 when he played his first game for MDA.

Plenty of time.

then Outclassed Lin & Embarrased entire Knick team in Nets whipping NY at da' garden

But all in all cant compare Lin to Dwill yet but Deron Williams is about himself
he is great yea I'd like him

But he's only solely auditioning fully for Dallas Mavericks he's lock stock & barrel set
going back home to Texas to play for Dallas whether trade deadline (unlikely) or by the summer end

Once Dwight Howard knew his pal DWill wont be in Brooklyn its easy for Howard to return to Orlando
since East is in flux transition OR wide open for the Heat, Bulls and Magic to beat each other up next 2 yrs

Dwill wont be in NY nor brooklyn
until recently the allstar being playing like a dog at season start

He's now playing cause he wants to and has to!

The Lin that beasted on Dwill and the Lin that got beasted by Dwill has one major difference:

The "Superstars" of Knicks team came back to play with Lin. That's what hurt Lin's performance and Knicks offense. Instead of doing his usual high-paced Rose-like offensive plays, Lin was forced to play passive and pass. Lin was trying to fit in for the stars that came back and adjusted his game.

Let's not forget the stars played like garbage that day.

yep true
but Lin's is learning & he's a 4 qtr player GOOD or BAD
his turnovers and shot selection are terrible at times.

All in all the STARs will win games in playoffs. We wont reach that yet so Lin done fine so far
however its premature to think yet he can dupe those performances with OR without MELO/AMARE

Worst case if Melo or Stat wasnt playing & NY is in playoffs
Jeremy Lin is not going to out-do MIA/D.Wade, CHI./D.Rose, or anyone with superstar status
thats asking way too much for a 1-way player whom can pass and score but cannot defend

I want to punch Stephen A in the face. I'd really love to know the last time the Knicks beat the Lakers at the Garden.

Don't lose any sleep over anything SASquatch says. He is too dumb to understand anything about basketball. He is just as bad as Berman.

I actually think it says nothing about his loyalty to J Lin; it's not like he wanted to offer Lin in this or any other trades. The fact that he wanted to keep Lin and acquire D Will I think indicates that he believes both of them are versatile guards who could play either back-court position. He probably envisioned something like Dallas with 6'2" Terry at SG - only Lin and D Will are both taller and better athletes than Terry.

Yes let's take a rumor and speculate on whatever crap we can come up with and repeat it 350 time. Then it will become fact that MDA wanted to dump Lin. Conjecture, speculation and agenda driven BS theories - day in the life of an average Knicks fan.

In all seriousness, was it not conjecture and speculation to say the MDA was against trading for Melo?
