They'll all HATE Melo now, if they didn't already. He is a cancer and the rest of the players know it. I am psyched to watch the bench tonight more than the court. That's where the action will be.

2012: sneak to the bathroom and watch it through your phone via slingbox!

I'm going to spend half an hour+ in the bathroom on the phone with my dad

How can they play for each other when Carmelo is obviously removed from the team and so far above them?

Man I don't know. I'm just still hoping for a playoff run. NO ONE wants to see this team just fall out completely. The Garden fans can be really brutal and if Melo doesn't come thru in the remaining games it can really be an unfair amount of pressure put on one player. I don't believe this is what Melo wanted. I don't believe this is what the rest of the players wanted. But somehow they've got to put the overall goal first.

I'll help you out:

Melo gets booed in introduction.

Melo plays a great first quarter. Knicks lead by 2.

Team plays like sleepwalking second quarter. Melo bricks many shots. Knicks trail by 3.

Knicks come out horrible on defense in the third. Lose the quarter by double digits.

Knicks make a run. Fans are fired up until the comeback falls short.

People start longing for D'Antoni. Melo says it stinks, but is happy its his team again.

Go have a great first date. You won't miss anything.

thanks for posting that... I will now reluctantly go have a goo dnight instead of being miserable and complaining on uk.com

OK....so UVM, where I graduated from, plays their tournament game tonight. This game is for the honor of getting demolished by UNC Friday. I was planning on skipping tonights Knicks game. Now, knowing that UVM has no cahnce of beating UNC Friday if they win tonight, do I still skip the Knicks game tonight?

Tonight is must see TV just for the Shit Show. Pre-Game Intro boo-ing time of Melo will probably have it's own betting line.

try to watch the Knicks intros, the first two minutes, and end of the Knicks game. I think the UVM game should start and finish before the Knicks. I would watch the play-in game if I were you. That actually means something, where the Knicks game will be more like watching the WWF or a telenovela

It's astounding how this franchise manages to ALWAYS be the one with massive drama and embarrassment throughout the league. Gotta lay it at the feet of Dolan. He just can't help himself. He manages to set this franchise up for tabloid headlines over and over again.

I don't understand how, after taking 2 years to clear the mess Isiah made, you go back and do it AGAIN.

Knicks had a winning team last year, they had an identity, and now we have this.

It's hard to root for. I don't see anything good in Knicks future.

Now that MDA is FINALLY gone, the Knicks have that weight off of theri shoulders.

I'm looking forward to seeing the team bounce back with another solid WIN streak, starting tonight.

Come on, Woodson... Let's see whatcha got for the 24 games left, and if he'll get us running in the playoffs!

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

God I hope so. I'm so sick of those line drive 3s and Free Throws...

obviously Shump is better defensively... but check out the stats man:

          FG% 3pt%
----------------------
Fields 48% 27%
Shump 39% 26%

You don't lose anything shooting (3pt) wise with Shumpert, but you get near All Defensive Team effort from Shumpert every game(Guard anybody from the 1 to 3). Who's going to cover for Lin on D against a decent point guard, not Fields...
