hey man, love your threads and chicks pic but wanted to let you know that I did remove a few of the ho's. Andrew and I gotta draw some sort of imaginary line some place and I think the chicks gotta have some sort of coverage in non-Alba threads. That way it's fun for the family.

carry on.

Are there lots of Asian girls in Milwaukee, or are people just randomly posting pictures of cute chicks?

why is it that, if we were in the midst of the linsanity era, i'd have no doubt we'd take this game easily, but now that we got our "stars" back, i'm having a hard time feeling confident about this one?

right so basketball... I'm expecting the Knicks to get crushed. They always for some reason get crushed in "the good land" and I don't see why anything should be different as we are currently sucking

I have a good feeling about this one. We're in Novak country, he will discount double check the Knicks to victory!

Bucks always gave Knicks problems, I remember this even when I was a small kid.

Tonight? They will crush us like little bitches.

Sit both Carmelo and Amar'e, go with the Linsanity lineup (minus Tyson Chandler) and dook it out.

Forget the offense.

Send a strong message that sloppy defensive play will not be tolerated.

Leadership

D'Antoni must make the unenviable transition from "players coach" to "cold-hearted, ruthless, SOB."

Red Holzman would sit all of them if they got sloppy on defense. At once. Even Clyde.

This ain't a popularity contest.

Confidence in this team has dropped to zero- I'm not sure why- if you look at the past three games objectively, they were against good teams, and we almost won the first one, and we were without Tyson Chandler vs the Spurs. But they've created a really sour atmosphere, not experienced since before the Linsanity era. I hate it when we have chemistry issues- Berman and company have a field day.

Another loss, and the fans will be out with their pitch forks!

Hope we stop the bleeding tonight- it's my last game before I go to Egypt for a week to visit some family- During that winning streak I was worried about all the games I'd miss, but the way we've been playing lately, missing a few doesn't seem so bad- but I still want to return to a 5 game win streak!

You realise that the Linsanity lineup, minus Tyson, minus Jared Jeffries, would get absolutely obliterated don't you? Look, I loved that Linsanity stretch, but lets be realistic here- that Lineup would never win in the playoffs- ever. I loved the way they played, their chemistry and their effort- it was the best time to be a Knick fan in years- but there's no way they would have won over a whole season.

We need Amar'e and Melo to play well, to make any noise in the playoffs- what's so frustrating, is that teams are focusing in on Lin, and now Novak, but Amar'e and Melo are completely failing to capitalise on it- they should be absolutely beasting, but they're not.

But I agree, that we need to go back to focusing on defense- D'Antoni and the team are focusing way to much on getting things to work on the offensive end, that no one emphasises the defense anymore.

Bolded part is exactly right. It's expected that teams will shut down Novak and Lin (at the beginning of the season, that sentence would have made zero sense. Still kind of doesn't). We should be totally fine with teams stopping those guys because they aren't the main guns, but the main guns are shooting blanks

A. Absolutely. (maybe)

Sho' You Right, It's The Defense

smackeddog - of course The Linsanity lineup struggles with Boston, Dallas and San Antonio on the road. Rondo wasn't hearing it, Dirk wanted revenge/ Kidd wasn't hearing it and DeJuan Blair ain't scared of Amar'e.

The Linsanity Lineup that started Jeffries, Shump and Fields was good enough for the moment. Their signature was they hustled on defense.

Forget the scoring. Over the long haul, we need everyone to commit to defense, boxing out and rebounding.
