So much for 10 man rotation, Mike Dee.. I really think Landry has problems with Mike D'Antoni's system. So many isolations for Melo that threw him off? I know he works well with Lin, but that's about it. Take Lin out and Landry plays as if he had only 1 arm.

btw, Rondo had 20 assists. Which part of Rondo today that didn't blow you away?

I didn't catch the 3rd quarter, except for the end.

I used to defend Landry - but at this point, you have to wonder if his good numbers last year weren't a fluke.

Send him to the bench, start Iman, JR or Davis.

He might be best suited to playing with Toney Douglas, on the inactive list, and with other teams next year.

The 3rd quarter started to attack basket a lot more than the 1st half. Lin started to score some but again, foul trouble. We started to double team but Pierce was already on fire. Ray Allen hasn't scored much probably due to his illness and even had an air ball (don't remember if this happened during 3rd quarter). Landry was nowhere in sight when it comes to defense. JR and Iman were doing well, attack basket as usual and Lin tried to do so as well except didn't go his way and our low post guys couldn't finish Lin's missed layups. Chandler and JR stopped KG from getting hot (awesome low post defense). We had so many missed field goals and Boston took over the lead during this quarter.

I'm not convinced Landry should be ignored. I think he just works well with Lin and not anyone else at the point. Maybe lack of practice to build up chemistry? Landry needs to learn better man defense when he's not hot on scoring.

Shumpert's gotta start now, plain and simple. Fields is a good soldier and wouldn't take it the wrong way, but we need Shumpert's energy and D at the beginning of the games.

Landry doesn't have a problem with Mike's system, and we saw how well he played when Melo was out.

I'M TELLING YOU GUYS, MELO DESTROYS MIKE'S SYSTEM.

Take Melo out and you'll have Landry dropping digits, taking names on notepads again.

Check the man's statistics during the Lin Days, before The Return.

JR is not even an option to start like someone said the ball already doesn't move as well in the starting lineup cos of Amare & Melo. JR will be useless starting, no enough balls to go around. Shump doesn't need the ball to be effective he scores on the occasional drive or fastbreak of a steal and his jumpshot will come. He's got good form unlike Fields

Dantoni is so slow to react man Shump better start Tuesday. I still have my doubts cos he is not going to want to hurt Fields fragile feelings by starting a rookie over him

I know what you mean by this. How many games do we have to lose, before D'Antoni loses the "loyalty crap" that he pulled with Toney Dog****, and finally starts Shumpert. The hell with Landry's ego, this team and his coaching career is built for right now.

I was concerned about messing up the Lin-Fields chem, but watching Lin throw half court oops to Shump sort of makes that not very important.

Why does it seem that Shump's not affected by Melo, but Fields always is?

Do the nerds still do the pregame ritual if one nerd's not starting?

right all the reason to bench Fields. He can't get his broken down plays points with Melo being the center of attention. Shump like others have said has no problem playing with the starters and actually has great chemistry with Lin. Offensively & defensively. Fields is the kinda player who can almost average a triple double if he played on a lottery team. Then gets traded and gets a big contract and is exposed playing with elite players.

Fields struggles have nothing to do with Melo. Not sure why everyone keeps falling back on this generic excuse. An unbiased eye was able to see that Fileds started to pick up his play right before Lin started playing. The reason why he is not playing well is because he is an average player. It's that simple. Average players are inconsistant and have up and down seasons. Fields on on his down cycle right now. Nothing to do with Melo or Stat. At best, Fields should be our back up SF.

Anji, you are wasting your time. Blob's posts about Melo are all emotional and personal. They lack any unbiased logic. His mind was made up about Melo the moment we traded the beloved Gallo for him.

fields really killed us. I mena we are up five and he basically came out of the second half as a member of teh celtics. He really gave them so much momentum that if he didn't we would have won that game

It's not biased to point out that either MDA or Melo has to go.

Would I mind if MDA left? Not that much.

I just want a consistent identity.

fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate
