I'm All In on Jeremy Lin and have been from the very beginning but what's the point of pushing Lin into the starting lineup after just one game of significant minutes? The only reason to do this is to pander to the fans who are chanting for Antoni to be fired and to Dolan who might be close to firing him. Lin should be brought along off the bench, playing significant minutes as needed. This is desperation and is setting Lin up for failure.

This is the NY Knicks and is one of the main reasons we haven't won in decades. Coaches don't just coach here. They coach without support and constantly in survival mode. Lin had a great game and should be on the bench having his minute determined by how he is playing that night in order to protect him. Instead we are going to throw him out into the steaming, festering cauldron of MSG. Let's hope he's one of the rare ones that can handle it. I just hope that people will like me

d'antoni said he started lin becuase he thinks it'll be less pressure on him. if the team went down by 7 in the first quarter and he came off the bench, everyone would think here comes the savior.
