Nets aren't trading DW unless they know he's not re-signing there. If that's the case, I don't offer Melo, I offer Amare straight up. Hopefully the Nets would rather have Amare and his contract than nothing at all.

We trade Melo rather than Stat because Melo can probably get more than just Deron (especially if we add a third team) We need all the assets we can get. Plus Deron and Stat would complement each other very well.
