Forgot how big Mozgov is.

Dude is large human and very mobile.

With his jumper, he could play Pf with his midrange jumper.

That would create problems.

We went to double OT with a garbage backcourt and our stars playing like ****.

We won that trade.

What game were you watching?

Denver was playing it's 4th game in 5 nights, all on the road, and if the first Gallo free throw falls New York doesn't sniff OT.

Have you heard about the "No crying in baseball" rule. I think it caries over to basketball too. These rants are so last year, and like a baby, you can't send it back anyway.

IF. That is the key word. IF Melo's late game heroics failed we would have not went to double OT. Point is he made the shots.

No, not the point.

The point is that Denver was in a strong position to put the game away at the end of regulation. And they did this on their fourth game in five nights and on the road.

If you take enough of them, a few are bound to go in. He missed 20 out 30 overall.

Denver was in a strong position because NoSharrington got hot and the refs GAVE Gallo 20 Free Throws.

Gallo took more free throws than the ENTIRE Knick team.

Blaming the refs is so high schoolish. Gallo WORKED extra hard to get inside and does NOT drop his shoulder. His upright posture allows him to get the benefit of the doubt on highly subjective calls.

It always counts. They don't start the 4th quarter at 0-0.

The game comes down to the last 2 minutes with execution.

At the end of the 3rd the score was 72-72. Basically 0-0.

Taking 30 shots, and only making a third of them, is NEVER cool.

This forum is becoming embarrassing. Defending Melo? The guy sucked all game until 5 minutes left. We played bad because he takes the entire team concept and ****s all over it. The team played a great second quarter when they were moving it around. Shooting in triple teams taking contested fadeaways?

Blaming the refs? Is that a joke? Gallo was getting guys in the air and being aggressive going to the basket. And mind you he wasn't forcing a shot everytime down the court.

And you don't take chandler over moz 9/10 when moz is making 3MM and chandler is making 13MM especially when chandler has zero offensive game and isn't a top 10 center in this league.

Who else would you prefer take the 20 missed shots? Fields, Shumpert, Amare, Chandler?

Seriously our entire team is struggling with their jumper including Melo. Would you prefer Melo sits and lets the wrist heal?

Melo is playing hurt and isn't going to continue to shoot 30% all season.

The Answer Man, Like Most New Yorkers, Digs The Assist

Q. AnubisADL - Who else would you prefer take the 20 missed shots? Fields, Shumpert, Amare, Chandler?

A. You are missing the point entirely. If you are suggesting an offensive pecking order than you need to explain why Toney Douglas gets more attempts than an MVP calibre player.

Do you have something against passing to an open man?

The team isnt good. Funny enough the shots he is missing he usually makes. It's not like he is just jacking. He should probably cut down on those 3's though.

Kobe does the same **** and people ride his sac. Team has a great second quarter because guys were scoring. Melo makes the same passes all the time. The problem is they usually end up with his teammates shooting bricks.

Even Lebron had guys like Mo Williams who were at least capable of dropping a CONSISTENT 15-20 pts. Knicks have no one who can consistently get baskets at this point other than Melo.
