wouldn't blame him [for wanting to leave]. J.R. has been really good... attitude wise, and he moves the ball. He does isos only when the team has nothing going offensively, and he creates offense for himself and his teammates. He's the best passer on the team. He does not sulk when he plays 15 minutes or 8 minutes. He has been a great team player and locker room guy for at least the past 1.5 years.

Most of this "bad shot selection" perception is just that, perception. But if you follow the Nuggets closely, you'd know J.R. is the least of the team's problems now.

But as usual he's GK's easiest target. If J.R. had an intimidating character like KMart, I bet GK would be off his back... he's GK's easy scapegoat. As usual the coward always pick on the weak for blame.

you're not wrong in anything you say about smith. i think melo has embraced being a leader this year, especially with his commitment to defense. you're right melo was never much of a leader in denver, but he was also young. it's possible that he's growing up and growing into a leader this year. if you ask me, so far he has. chandler is a good backbone to have as your leader and amar'e when his head is screwed on straight is a good leader. right now he's ****ting the bed and that has to change. winning cures all. this team just needs to get on a little roll. and oh yeah, we need a pg too.

Looks good on paper. But we don't have the leadership, either from the players and certainly on the bench to turn this from a disaster to a boon. Stat looks out of it. Melo's not the leader type. MDA can't even stop our rook from chucking at every opportunity.

Jr smith is an *******....Byron Scott had it out with him. George Karl kept the dude on the bench and let him play and took him out when he started acting up.

With that said all this gang stuff is just retarded. These guys want to make money. Its in Jr Smiths best interest to get his **** together cuz he should realize by now the NBA is where he needs to be. All we need to worry about is the game of basketball. Jr smith is a 20pt per game scorer. He's never done it. Ecausue he's never had it together long enough to do it. Now if this dude can get it together he can be a force. The Knicks have a hole at the 2....he fits in transition, he can handle the ball and he can shoot the **** out of it.

He's not gonna sign for 10 years cuz all the Knicks got now is the minimum. That's all any team has right now.

I would sign him as early as possible for the remainder of the year.
