A guy like Phil Jax wouldn't take that risk, not for this roster and with this owner.
why wouldnt he? he wanted to coach the knicks since 99 when that season went eerily like this one with people calling jvg's head with a bad start. in phil jax ssystem, you can get away with a pg like douglas since a good pg is not required and you have stat and melo as the main vertices of the triangle, like shaq and kobe. this is a talented team with two top 15 players ( well, when they are on their game) on the roster and a defensive minded talented center.
