Yes!

I was proud of that and no one else seems to appreciate it

Amear likes ATM amare tyson melo
But Carnegie Wall is classy, two problems though.
John "wall" plays for another team. And- carnegie makes me think of carneige-melon, which makes me think of carnigie - melo, but then we lose the wall, and carnegie-melon is in pittsburgh....Too confusing! Better than EZ pass though! ( eddy and z-bo)

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

How about TMS! Tyson Melo Stoudemire.

KNICKSBIGCATS wrote:Hi Guys,
I'm new to the forum....actually I'm a LONG time lurker who knows who BRIGGS and TMS are (where are those guys anyway?) , who knows that Amare' =Amear and who is just as thrilled with our new big three as all of you seem to be here. My user name "CAT" is for Carmelo, Amare and Tyson.

This free agency period has been awesome and we're coming out of it as big winners for sure!
My sense is that...when choosing between two players (with most things being equal), I'd go with the better defender. That's the direction that this team needs to take. See 1971 Knicks. We need to turn up the defensive intensity across the board...Mike Woodson has been an awesome addition in that regard by all accounts. I hope the guys buy in!

Just a thought.....I'm sure you guys will find a way to beat me up for this one, but....
One name that nobody has talked about is LEON POWE. I remember him with the Celtics a few years ago....he plays with tenacity, is a good rebounder and a great teammate and locker room presence. I know that he had some physical problems a while back (knee?), but he managed to play in 30 games last year, I wonder if he could give us limited minutes to spell Amare? I'd bring him in for a physical, check him out and sign him for the vet minimum if he passes. He's only 27.

Anyway, thanks to Martin and Andrew for allowing me to be a part of this great site!

i personally like ATM the most, it kinda makes sense, too.

We especially the way we had to sign and trade for Melo and especially Chandler.

We we dug deep in our pockets, getting a cash in advance *sorta*, and emptied out our bank *salary cap* to pay for their talents.

It's not bad I was thinking like stamping 'insufficient funds' on those who wander into the paint and can't finish ;)

But CAT was also something I thought about...Caterpillar...I was thinking of those big tractors souped up like a monster truck...or a combine turned into a transformer kind of thing.

Also 'Moneyline' but that's not getting us the right sort of innuendos.

I like "The Beastie Boys" best...it's much easier to say and it goes really well with the early amare "I feel like a beast" persona:

it will be a big four, watch!
I said Chandler, last year, selling him the idea of being New York's Bill Russell.
While many of you said I was crazy...
I knew he was exactly, what we needed.

I was just surprised we actually got him, the way we did...
With Dallas winning champs and by us picking up Billups option, which I was against...
and the the amnesty clause (unpredictable)

I called him Iman my 2nd pick, after Vucevic, knowing we needed a center, and boy I am glad we drafted Iman in the summer and every day till now....

would also like to add

Peja and Ak47, both of whom are high IQ vets, that fill our needs.

Peja, can play limited starting role or 7-10man role like he did in Dallas, spreading the floor, and using his size/BB IQ
Ak47 can play 3 positions, with PF, SF, and Center. I don't know if the 2.5exemption would be enough but he is 30, so I would like to wrap him up for Bird Rights somehow for another 2-3 years to make up for it, playing a limited role in our future...

I would not be against Outlaw
I also wouldn't be against Davis, only after he is ready to practice...

I know lots of you like Fields but we would have to use our MLE to keep him in the summer
I wouldn't be against trading him with a package for a athletic wing like Ariza.

package we can offer, not all players, but what I feel we can afford to give up

1st round pick
Fields
Walker
Balkman
Jorts/Jordan - again, we would be put in a bad situation, when they are both FA 2 years later. So keeping one isn't a bad option.

think about it, we would be getting more quantity and possibly quality in return for package starting with Fields
since we could use the MLE for another player in the summer rather than using it to keep Fields
while keeping the player we trade for with Fields, having his bird rights.

Having

Iman
Ariza
Chandler

Ak47
TD
Jorts or Jordan
