We have few holes..but the not glaring

True assessment? I can't say for sure whether they'll win 38 or 50 games. I can say I'm extremely confident they're not on the path to a championship team. Like Knickstorrents said, we're using the Miami Heat strategy with inferior players.

When you have stars, it's all about how they play on that given night, or that given series, not necessary who is better overall. Yes we have inferior stars to a degree, but we can beat them to the punch in other areas. I believe we have a better supporting cast and have less invested into our supporting cast, therefore we have much better opportunity to improve. Miller and Haslem's contracts give them little room to improve. Our only glaring hole is center, so add Dalembert or someone to the roster and start training camp and we will get the chemistry right and go to war.

Dalembert is a poor choice..He has become lazy ..Total waste of money if u ask me..I would rather a D leaguer than to waste cap space on Dalembert..

Yeah im with you on this, the love affair people are having with dalembert is mind boggling. This guy made no team better defensively..none, as a matter of fact, the kings were one of the worst defensive teams in the league in every defensive catagory.

No love affair with Dalembert, i just want a real answer at center, not just another filler. If he isn't the best option, who is? We need a real presence and someone who fits. Maybe Kwame Brown is a solid option? I don't know someone tell me. And don't say some D-leaguer, that's not the answer. We need someone who is a rebounder, shot blocker, athlete, and doesn't hurt the offense, and Dalembert seems like someone who fits that mold. Centers don't grow on trees, so if you can find an above average one at good value you have to do it, not filter thru a bunch of minimum salary players forever.

I have no love for Dalembert, but I do think he'd be better than average at center. I also think the Knicks have no shot at him. I think we have a better chance of getting Mozgov back from Denver (which I also think is unlikely).

We will have to find a center on the cheap in the draft. I like Jerome Jordan and maybe Briggs' guy from USC.

LOL, you think Toney Douglas and Jerome Jordan could net the knicks Omer Asik????

But watching that he is really good defensively in these playoffs. Maybe we sign him in a year.......

How exactly can we beat the Heat?

Where's Knickstorrents now? He gets credit for the most astute comment of the season.

I guess i got my wish for a real center. We got the best defensive player in the league. I wanted Dalembert and we got chandler, so i couldn't have hoped for better. On paper we got so much better this year it was just crazy. Upgraded from Turiaf to Chandler, from Billups to Lin, and from Fields to Shumpert. Off the bench we added real depth in Smith and Novak. It's crazy how much better we got, it just came down to injuries and chemistry. Hopefully those issues can be addressed this summer.

Only that Chandler sucked in the playoffs

You are only kidding yourself. You really judge a Heat team that was so convinced of their superiority over us, they didn't even care to make it look like they were trying? You are nuts of you believe we saw the Heat's best shot this series. Heat was sleepwalking over us.

This team isn't close to Miami, and the Heat aren't even the best team in the NBA. But if it makes you feel better believing we are close, suit yourself. We are definitely winning the championship next season. Its a given.
