I agree. It took Ron Artest to have the brawl for him to be scrutinized to the point were any flagrant could earn him a suspension on 1-5 games. No way Bynum deserves more that a couple of games at most and no way he is a bum. No reason to pile on............. ![]() PHil Jax looked awful this series. Lakes Swept by the soft Mavs? Dude gets got more rings than fingers. He gets a pass. Bynum got two rings. PUnk move is by a loser. A two time champion does it its just a stupid play done in frustration. It don't define him. |

He just lost his balance. STAT couldn't have known he'd fall like that. Bynum KNEW that a sharp elbow to exposed ribs of a guy flying thru the air was gonna do damage. Totally different fouls IMO. |

![]() I wouldn't want Bynum, he's slightly better than the 07' Eddy Curry because he has some defensive presence but he's as close to a zero sum big as it gets. Fans are caught up that he's a 7ft big. Add to the fact he has bad knees, isn't always motivated to play his best, and is inherently a dirty jerk off.... naaaaah I'll pass. The Lakers have had success with or without Bynum. The only way I'd be interested with him involved if it was a 3-Way trade and he got flipped somewhere else while we got compensated.

I get the dirty play and bad knee, but to compare him to Curry is an insult. Official sponsor of the PURE KNICKS LOVE Program

![]() Wow, what a scumbag! Reminds me of Bill Laimbeer. I'd never accept a player like that on the Knicks. Total biatch assassin. That ain't sports, it's Mafia.

![]() Not once did he even look at the ball. It even looks like he was trying to go with the elbow but couldn't get his body turned. This kind of crap is potentially worse than winding up and punching someone in the air because you have all your weight projected into the point of your elbow. If this ever happens again he should be expelled from the league.

![]() Until someone lays him out, he will keep doing it. Dallas should have protected Barea. Not one of them went after Bynum.

Bet a brawl, some suspensions and you know what then..........Series changer! It was a bad play but playoffs is mans game. Ask Steve Nash's nose! I was a stupid play for Bynum but at least they tried. JJ should have bit his leg. |

What has Bynum accomplished? He's a better rebounder and better shot blocker but Curry was the far better scorer. At 24 Curry was 19 and 7. I dont see any scenario where Bynum averages close to 20 points, even on Minny. Maybe if he played with CP3 or Deron in place of Lopez. Even then I dont see it. He has a really tny offensive arsenal. |

Yeah I don't really see where I've erred in assessment here. I qualified the year comparison and gave Bynum the edge due to defensive presence but it's not some great degree of separation for what he's done in his career up to this point vs Curry's 07' season. And believe you me Curry was a disaster at his best in 07'. I just think it's comical all the hype surrounding this guy coming into the league as if he was the next Shaq when he probably isn't better than Noah or Kris Kaman right now. |

A lot of centers can get those numbers if they played with a Gasol/Odom front court and Kobe Bryant as the 2 guard in a triangle offense that maximizes post play. |
