C'mon man.....STAT didn't play for 90% of Game 2 and shouldn't have been playing yesterday. We don't have our starting PG, STAT is banged up and no where near 100% and Melo can't do it alone. It makes the holes that we have seem much much bigger but I don't think anyone thought we had a chance of winning this year. We played 2 tough games against the defending Eeastern Conference Champs and if we were at 100% we would have had a better shot. Even if we do get swept tomorrow I'm proud of this team and proud to call myself a Knicks fan.

Not here, even though we've gone 14-17 after the trade while the Nuggets have gone 18-9(playoffs/regular season combined). I'll grant that there are other factors too behind our struggles but the Carmelo lovers are making it sound like there's something outstanding going on that we're missing.

I've heard that about this team for about 10 years now.

You can look forward to hearing it till we can field a team with 5 (onsistent) NBA starters on it. Right now we are at 2.3 and that's being generous.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

I don't blame him for not chasing West, that was coaching.

yea, no one ever argued that gallo was on melo's level.. right now melo at age 26 is pushing the lebron and kobe envelope... but what most of us feared was gutting the team and the options in case we had injuries would be either melo or amare and guys like jeffries for long periods of time...honestly, I wanted to give up fields over gallo....

This was the reaction to Melo's 42 point game against the C's in Boston.

I am glad this was posted, just shows that all of the so called hate is BS..... the problem is carmelo came out to star the next season and completely tanked. got the coach fired, quit on the team and was a dog... I lost the little respect for him... but in all fairness I tried to give him credit, was being a bit to nice with the kobe and lebron comment, but I was trying to give the fool credit.. lol....he isn't on lebrons level tho... and not kobe... and that is becoming more apparent than ever..

Nothing like fumbling for words and credibility when it's obviously documented that you have none.

Kudos to Killa for the research! I don't have the patience (or the ambition) to look two pages back, let alone 1 1/2 years.

i was... i was... ummmmmm just bein nice....yeah! that's it! I was just being nice to Melo! Pitying him from on high, actually!
That nasty pile of dog vomit!

I just don't know why people continue to bring up Gallo...and the trade....and the picks....and the cap space flexibility...and the "youth"...

I'm sure there will be threads forthcoming producing logic about how one 26 point performance now fully justifies hating the best player on the Knicks.

See? Gallo can beat the Grizzlies!

Of course, Gallo can also get his knees removed by the Spurs!

Why are the same people who complain about fans not moving on bringing up threads from the past so that the same tired discussions can be rehashed over and over? Please stop.
