hey it's not unusual for a 1 to have a letdown vs an 8. what matters is that the star steps up when he needs to to produce the w. that's the history of winning teams in this league.

Rose's performance is the exact reason why you need a star pplayer to win and win big in this league. The Pacers out-played the Bulls across the board abut it was Rose who put that team on his shoulders in the last 3 minutes and single-handedly won that game for them. They alos turned up the D.

hear hear. and who was the biggest star and best player in this league over the last 2 weeks of the season? carmelo anthony baby.

LETS GO BOCKERS! if melo takes over and gets us a W in boston, i am gonna be feeling gooooooood!

i will too. and if he gets us TWO . . . .

i mean... am I the only one that's getting sick of seeing teams considered to have "good defense" go into a desperation hacking mode late in games, and not get fouls called against them? Any time the knicks get physical on D it seems we get whistled right out of it.... yet noah plays d with his hands like crazy and no calls... those last 2 "blocks" on McRoberts were all AMR! it's pretty hard to beat teams when they're allowed to freely hack you and wack you in the 2nd half of games...

Iggy would be good on the Knicks with Amare and Melo. He has alot of PG skills.

he seems to have the personality of a 3rd wheel type player. Think Lamar Odom type.

So far, Atlanta's played much better than they did last year when they were annihilated by Orlando.

ATL showing some fight. I still don't like the team but they have a shot to win games in this series. ATL is an all Forwards all the time roster. If they ever get a real C and a real PG they could be something. It's a similar problem we have.

Wow, Bill Simmons just tweeted this.
Total FT attempts today with all 4 teams playing equally hard: 71 (Miami/Chicago), 32 (Indy/Philly). That's embarrassing.

It's incredible that the NBA refused to even acknowledge that there's a problem.

This is exactly wtf i'm talking about...

lebron crashes into young on one end... blatant offensive charge... no call... 2 possessions later... wade fly kicks young while hitting a fadeaway jumper... foul on young... it's disgusting.

Jamal doing what he can to lose the game for Atlanta now. Taking his usual rainbow J from the half court with 18+ left on the clock
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Big win for the Hawks. I don't know if they'll keep this up, but they shocked everyone with that win, cuz they absolutely stunk to end the season.

Holy crud. Dwight with 46 points, 19 rebounds in the loss. Jameer with 27, and everyone else with 6 or less.

Aldridge off to a terrific start in Dallas.

Everything except boards, actually where chicago killed them. but yes Indy definitely outplayed them, but Granger or Tyler have to score in the 4th quarter in the last 3 minutes. They basically choked. When ur up 10 with 3:30 left, u just have to keep putting points on the board or getting to the line.

Yeah Hedo and JR really let them down. They could have won.
