The Knicks are really good again. We are solid and well placed in the 7th spot and can very easily make a run for 5 or 6. Lets do it.

Great win! Thomas got hot and i was really impressed with the way we played deffense, it was great to see us force turnovers like that. It was also nice to see guys like sweetny(played well in his brief time) get some minutes so they can develope, good job by Lenny to make it happen. I think, that is the best way to do it.(Keep them confidence, at the same time, not letting their play have too much of a negative impact on the game) The Knicks are also, finally, starting to show some signs that they can beat the teams they should even if they score low like they did.
Looking forward to seeing Elton Brand and the Clips tomorrow. Erratic team, could give the knicks some problems but the Knicks should be able to win it. Hope for a winner at the Garden.
Frank Williams is the best knicks player this year. mad Respect

Again the knicks are victorious and the good thing about this victory is the bench really got chance to pick up a lil sweat. Marbury is the leader of this crew and should always be in charge at crunch time.

Huge win for the Knicks--- it helps solidify our standing in the east and adds a little more distance between us at the Heat... plus it clinches our season series against them in the event of a tie, right?

We're only a half-game behind Toronto now.

The Clipper game is going to be very important to us. It'll be curious to see how Shandon/Penny/Van Horn do against the aggressive wings of the Clippers Q Rich and Maggette.

A win tomorrow will give us a 5 game winning streak heading into our short road trip to Dallas & New Orleans.

Tech, Lenny gets props from me only if the knicks can win more than 4 consecutive games in a row, a feat that hasn't been done this season under his tenure as head coach. Remember Chaney also won 4 straight with the talent he had and that was without Starbury.

coach can go on serial 4-1 streaks all season for all I care. It's what's done during playoffs that will tilt my vote.

The Clips will be a tough team to beat since they matchup well with us (especially with Houston out). Hopefully we can contain Brand and Magette, then we will be fine. The win today was big because we separate ourselves even more from the Heat while still carrying some momentum into tomorrow's game. Plus, the Sixers and the Cavs lost today so we go up another game on them as well. A win against the Clippers though would be big because we would finally make it past 4 straight wins, plus, it would be nice to go on our roadtrip with some momentum.

read this Wilkens haterz!

Wilkens, who got the game ball and saved it, wrapped in a white towel, to be flown home on the team charter, didn't get 1,300 victories without knowing how to teach defense. The Knicks are 8-3 under Wilkens. Even more tellingly, they are allowing just 84.9 ppg under his guidance. Under Don Chaney this season, Knick opponents' scoring average was 93.0. Enough said about why Chaney had to go.

"We're trusting each other and we're defending, that's the key," Thomas said. "If someone gets beat, the other person has his back."

Its always good to see our Knicks in a Win situation. But celebrating the win as some kind of monumental victory is not....not the standard to get excited about. Miami, is still playing 90's ball while NY has made changes and is playing up-tempo ball.
