It just shows you the importance of defense. They could not hit shots--the shots they hit were 5 feet beyond the 3 point line. Uconn just had too much length and speed. Kemba was real, hurt last night and he wasnt healthy for the game against Kentucky yet still managed to do what was necessary. Jeremy Lamb is going to be a star type player. I expect this team with the addition of Ryan Boatright(wait until u see this kid) and possibly Andre Drummond to me more than set to get a chance to repeat. Its a very tough team--we lose Kemba which is enormous but all of those yo9ung freshmen will be better and we add possible 3 guys 6-10++ and a guard who resemble s Kemba in many ways.

You obviously have not watched much of FSU playing. I am used to these ugly arse games ;-) It was a defensive gem but becuase there wasn't much offense as a 'showtime spectacle' it will be regarded a failure to live up to the hype.

@ FSU you don't defend you sit. Simple as that.

Simply a terrible game to watch.

Both teams deserved to be in a more memorable finals game.

Some last possession drama might have made this game a bit more palatable, but we couldn't even get a bit of final seconds excitement to end this forgettable game.

As a fan of the team that 14 point lead they broke open was a beautiful thing. It was a great tourney many great great games it turned into a Miami NY slugfest by one team that was over manned and one team riding on fumes--it is what it is--you have to watch the tape to get an understating of just how good Uconns D was last night--10 blocked shots numerous alters from all over the court--Butler was forced 5 feet from the 3 pt line and when they had a few clean shots--they were simply rattled to hit them. It was a great defensive effort--so you find the beauty in that.

butler missed a lot, but uconn's length and shot blocking just kept them from getting anything inside.. it was amazing.... uconn's bigs just shut the lane down..everything was blocked... every shot...

For a while it looked like UConn couldn't buy a rebound. Butler had their chances.
