He is a guy who was good enough for us to cut another player who is now getting 10 minutes a game on Dallas. And, it wasn't about money, as Brewer signed for 3 years and 7 million. I will say that Brewer isn't an offensive Jaugernaut. Brown is better offensively (especially around the rim) and can guard bigger players.
I do see your (and others) points though, but 5 - 10 minutes a game here and there is not going to hurt us. After 3 to 4 games if he stinks it up, don't put him out there anymore. We had a blowout (that we won), perfect time to give him some minutes. Just seems like D'Antoni is a control freak when it comes to rotations.
