(cough)

I'm jus sayin

I don't think he's healthy. And, yes, he's proving me wrong and the Knicks are losing. You must be ecstatic.

Heath is not simply physical. In Chauncey's case you can remove money, rings and every superficial factor from the equation. The most important thing to a veteran player at this stage of his career is heart. How does Billups FEEL about being ripped away from his family and children?

What too many trader joe's overlook is the human element. Billups head is not here and it is evident. To the extent his body is aching, only he knows. We know one thing for certain. His heart is not in it.

"I'm jus sayin'" is exactly what it means.

I'm jus' sayin'

then i'm "jus sayin'

retire if you don't want to earn your paycheck.

"okay, you're paying me $14M, but i have to TRAVEL?!?!"

That is hilarious. Well played.

Mid Term Fix Number 2: Play Carmelo at guard.

Put the ball in his hands in the role of point forward Anthon Mason. Force Carmelo to lead and create opportunity for his new running buddies. He brings the ball upcourt at least 50 per cent of the time, with either Fields or Billups on the wing. What do we have to lose?

Play Shawne Williams at three, a position he can flourish in at 6'9. (It's amazing Dolan did not throw in Shawne Williams and Landry Fields)

Amare at the four. Turiaf at center, until he fouls out or gets injured, whichever comes first.

And I love Ronny Turiaf.

he would have but he never heard of them.

I agree, I would like to see Melo play a point forward at times. During his career, he has always been looking to get his own shot of and play as a scorer. However, he has never been teamed up with an all star like Amare. We can not have 2 players that are constantly "black holes" Let Melo bring the ball up and look to get other players involved and build team chemistry.

CB
TD
Shawne Williams
Fields
Roger Mason
Bill Walker

are all players that are create spot up shooters. With the attention Melo already has, especially with Amare cutting, these guys can hit get open shots.
We are missing the great ball movement we had with Gallo, Wilson Chandler, Felton, and Fields developed over the year. We have to build back that chemistry.

CB isn't the same player as he once was in Detroit, he just doesn't have the legs he once had. He is still a great spot up shooter. TD has to mix up shooting good shots and just moving the ball like we once did as well.

Melo doesn't have the all round skills Lebron has, however, he has enough to play a point forward role. Let the defense guess, when Melo will be looking to score and getting the team involved with his first step. We know he can get his shot off but lets use that step to creating for the team...

We are also in great need for a center this year. We should be looking to add 2 D league players. Earl Barron and ex net Sean WIlliams are 2 players I think would fit in the running style Dantoni likes to play in.

Earl Barron, if he continues his play like his short skid with us, would be a solid player.

Sean Williams is an athletic 6f 11 player that has length, quickness, and agility. He can initiate our fast break with the RB, shot blocking, and defense. He can run quite fast for his size and can finish, unlike JJ. Watching him as a net, I never understood why he even went to the D League. He is a poor man Dalembert/Stromile Swift/Keon Clark.

We need help from the Center position, Turiaf is currently our best intimidator, but is not starter material. JJ is just a joke, he doesn't intimidate with his fish lips or charges. Most importantly he can not finish.

We would have to choose between

Sheldon Williams
JJ
Bill Walker
A/C or Roger Mason

With CB and TD getting the bulk of the minutes, we simply don't need Anthony Carter and Roger Mason, they both play similar roles.
We need 2 new bodies at center and we need them now....
