Here it is....Brewer or Mason Jr was never going to get any playing time anyway.

Due to the lack of playing time, which player would become more of a locker room cancer?

It appears Mason Jr has the right attitude, and he still has one definite skill...He can shoot, plus he has championship / playoff experience...He may be more or just as valuable as Brewer, when it comes time for trades...Mason Jr can play for any team, without interrupting the teams culture.

I can't say the same for Brewer....

But I'm will the majority....I thought he was fairly young with good potential....And a much improved jumper!

Guess who is Corey Brewer's agent? Happy Walters.

Seems like Walsh did a solid for Amare's agent so his client could get a decent deal this summer.

Buke was actually 1st up to get waived....But he turned down the buy out, according to this article I read. So I guess Brewer was next up in line....

At this point, nobody can argue with Walsh so far....He's doing a great job. Plus, theres no need to cry over the 15th roster spot....

No announcement on Corey Brewer FYI. Azubuike was only player waived. Clearly didn't show enough in practice to prove he could contribute. 5 minutes ago via TweetDeck

Wonder if Brewer is still a Knick or if we are signing another player with Jeffries.

This Waiver Period is exciting! Is like a poor man's Free Agency!

Azu waived. This makes sense. Will we waive another player so we can sign Jeffries + a center?

I can't figure this all out, but I trust Donnie will handle this in as good a way as possible.

Looks like we waived both:

AlexKennedyNBA NYK can now sign Jeffries and one other player such as Dan Gadzuric, T.J. Ford, Leon Powe, Rasual Butler or Earl Barron if Bucks let him go.

So after signing Jeffries, who will be the mystery signing #2?

Still not clear....Brewer still here? not here? I don't think it makes a lot of sense to waive both unless we can get Murphy.

via Alex Kennedy - Source close to Brewer says that he will still be bought out by Knicks. "Azuibuike is being waived IN ADDITION to Brewer," said the source.

Who is Alex Kennedy? He's an 18 year old kid or something that writes for hoopsworld.com, which never gets anything right. From what it sounds like the Brewer buyout is not done.

VDesai wrote:Knicks supposedly had a trade lined up for Brewer with the Celtics I believe, but it fell through.

Celtics probably would not have traded Perkins if this deal went through since they used him to get a wing player, so this was a good move by the Knicks (whether intentional or not)

So teams didn't value Buike's insurance savings?
