Gallo has a fractured Big Toe....Yikes! Will be out for about 2weeks. This will be interesting because the Nuggets are in a fight in the Western Conference as the Rockets/Suns/Grizzlies are all right in the mix.

Time for the Mayor to earn that big contract!

Carry them forth and negotiate!

Dang. That freak accident did not look good when I saw it live against Portland. He basically clipped. How can the same type injury happen to the same player in the same season?

I find it somewhat fascinating that few seem to miss (or at least express it) the most accomplished homegrown Knick of the last decade.

he appeared to have reached his ceiling before he left. i think the to-be-yet realized potential is whats driving a lot of the current missing.

In fairness There was pretty good recognition of the "yoots gone west" but some of us will watch them and others are just too cool for school.

Some fans just want to win and don't care is in the uniform.

After Zdump, Marbury, Francis, Larry Hughes, penny and some others, I just liked the yoots we had.

i loved them while they wore the uni. but i saw the team's future as limited so was ok with letting them go for upgrades.

I agree with all of those choices except Randolph. He might have been "Zdump" for other teams but he was on his best behavior in NY, he put up solid numbers, and he wasn't a ball hog, which was his rep. I was surpised myself but I'm more surprised that people have bad memories from his time here. I don't remember hearing any stories of his being a problem. A rare trade by Isiah that panned out.

He was awful when Popcorn man was at the helm. He played great and was a great teammate when D'Antoni came in.

He put up great numbers both years he was here. If you didn't like the way he was utilized blame the coach not the player.

What the heck are you talking about? I said he was horrible when Isiah was coaching but he played great when MDA came in. Numbers are great. They are nice and shiny. I look at the basketball player. Does he help the team. Does he make his teammates better. The first year...nope. The 2nd year, definately. If he wasn't traded I think he would have been an all-star that year.

Amare turns the ball over more than Randolph did so lets roll a clip of Amare turning the ball over! He was the number one option on a team that didn't have many. He did his job.

What exactly is your criticism of what he did wrong his first year? I might be able to give you a better answer because I remember a guy playing well both years, he was more effective in his second year but that doesn't mean he was playing crappy. Look what he had around him.
