Knicks will regret this deal sooner than later.

Worst trade since Chamberlain gave away the Sudetenland.

Melo sucks, by the way. I would take Gallo over Melo on my team any day of the week, and five times on Sunday.

Gallo is just a superior person, superior TEAM-player, superior human being.

That's NY no room for patience just have to enjoy the game no player stays long enough anymore on same team.

If Gallinari is allowed to become the alpha male on the Nuggets and his 3 pt. shot eventually comes back we may just come to regret the trade.

Too early to tell at this point though, but I am on record as being against the trade we made. Can't go game by game to judge this trade, but in 2 years we should know whether or not we made a mistake, and I'm thinking there will be a lot or regret around here (I really hope I am wrong, though.).

It will be interesting to see how some of the "Melophants" spin things if Gallo comes out of his cocoon. I think a lot with Gallo in NYC had to do with where his head was at in terms of deference to other players. Maybe he becomes more of a go to guy on the Nuggets- maybe he plays the way I thought he could play when we first picked him up. Maybe Karl will be a better coach for him, or maybe a Nuggets team in need of a go to guy has found a new guy to take the lead.

Looks like Wilson and Gallo will be taking a lot of time from Harrington, by the way. Ironic, since Harrington made some comments about Gallo, if I remember correctly.

Could not watch the Nuggets game on TV, and it was blacked out on f'n League Pass Broadband. 5/20 from Denver's PGs won't cut it though, even though they had 12 assists between them.

Felton definately one of the reasons they lost this one. The announcers for ESPN was questioning how Gallo does not get a touch in OT.

You assume that Karl will look at his kind of thing and make adjustments. I could not see the game, so I can't say too much, but Felton seems to have tunnel vision at times, especially in big situations.

I hope so. Karl I thought made a big mistake sitting Gallo for a long time in the 4th. Gallo was hot in the 3rd and beginning of the 4th. He took him out 2 min into the 4th and he did not get in until 2 min left. He should have given him a 3 min rest and put him back in.

From what I saw, Gallo was cooling off at that time so he went with Chandler to get some scoring going but Portland got it going.

It was really Brandon Roy - he barely played at all - 10 minutes maybe - until the last 5 minutes of the game. he was a complete game-changer.

that's the type of player Denver lacks - a go-to game-changer. they are the hardest, most important pieces to find.

that is the entire reason for the Knicks trade. before the trade we were very similar to Denver (though they are deeper and have Nene for rebounds). Post-trade, we have the game-changer in Melo, but need to rebuild the depth around him. it's easier to build the depth. look at how easy it was to get Fields and Mozgov. Wilson was #23 pick overall - we'll have a pick in the 18-22 range this year.

we have the hard pieces to the puzzle. now we have to complement those pieces.

I didn't get that feeling. He scored 11 or 12 I think in the 3rs quarter. He gave him a breather but it was a little too long. He stuck with Al Buckets too long.
