MDA and Amare used to work together. I think MDA just call him. He got his number.

I think you need to prop up IT doing something good so you can feel better about supporting him and his players.

Also, someone had to ask MDA to set up meeting with Amare. Either Donnie or Dolan? So one of those guys asked MDA to ask Thomas to set meeting? Both Donnie and Dolan have good relationship with Isiah, much better than MDA, and one of those guys told MDA to reach out to Isiah?

VERY WEIRD. And not very believable.

I think you covered all the angles. It's beyond weird, it's nonsense.

No way in hell am i'm supporting him, I'm only stating what I have seen or heard..

All of a sudden I'm suppose to believe chris Broussard is riding thomas. Anyway like i said earlier, the media hasn't gotten anything right, the russian has been lying to us. wednsday had news reports of dolan meeting with melo over the weekend, then saturday we here the meeting occured 48 hrs ago.
knicks made a firm offer, and then said that they aren't budging, 24hrs later they throw in mosgov, this is coming from the same Chris broussard who your calling a lier

Funny how everybody in the world knows melo wants to play for the knicks, yet melo never came out in any interview and flat out said it himself..

Yes, I don't need to check out "Outside the Lines" to hear what Mr. Broussard has to say. I know his agenda and the agendas of guys like Stephen A. Smith. Unfortunately you are one of the few Isiah supporters still slithering around. For what reason, I don't know. But you're here trying to give him credit where he doesn't deserve any and here trying to defend him because you feel the need to. Your agenda is no different than Broussard or Stephen A. And for the record, Chris Broussard is an awful reporter. This guy said a trade was close about 17 times between the Nets and Nuggets and had Lebron going from Cleveland to Chicago to Cleveland to New York in the days before the Decision.

The Knicks went from, "The Nuggets have no choice but to trade Carmelo for whatever we want" to, "Wait, we're trading Gallinari and Chandler and Felton?" to, "We can't let Timofey Mozgov be what holds this deal up."

Dolan did this IN THE SPAN OF ONE WEEKEND.

Every piece of Knicks-Carmelo news since Friday has been depressing, one more move away from the position Walsh shrewdly put the Knicks in. Dude, you're basing your anxiety on what the newspapers say. The Knicks themselves said they had no connections. These papers are basing this crap on what they think or heard is going on. You're getting pissy and upset on rumors.

My dog probably has a better clue on what's going on behind closed doors then most of these bloggers and beat writers.

You're in that much denial that you're believing the Dolan PR machine.

You are believing newspapers that Isiah is back right? Gotta believe something. Just cause he is believing the Knicks PR does not automatically mean Donnie Walsh will not return. I'd rather wait for something to happen. I mean, look at what happened with Lebron, Bosh and Wade this summer.

So you think Isiah is not talking to Dolan and that Walsh is involved in this trade alone?

Papabear Says

You know you really worry me about this Isiah thing. You really need to let it go or it will enqulf you. That's all you post about.

That was a Youtube video of someone filming him, not TV. I think you're having a hard time telling the difference between reality. He never went on TV to say he hates the Knicks because he was never a Knicks "hater". People called himm a hater before he kept reporting LeBron wasn't coming to New York until the night before.

What does that have to do with what I'm talking about? Even if he suddenly became a hater, it was after Isiah was out. He would write articles about Isiah and his moves on the ESPN website. He was pro-Isiah until the end. This guy was and still is a moron. If I had a way to go through ESPN archives to find his articles, I would.

You will really do anything to defend Isiah, wont you?

knicks1248 - "(Donnie Walsh) put us in a position to be players in in the biggest FA market ever, but he rush all of his trades and got little in return other then cap space."

Do you consider Amare Stoudemire little in return?

knicks1248 - We had a good team going into the 08 season, and donnie and mike made sure they spoiled that plan by slapping marbury around, and pushing the panic button on JC and Zach trade way to early.

2008? Sheesh.

knicks1248 - I wouldn't give donnie an extension unless this team makes a real playoff run

A "real" playoff run? As opposed to a fake playoff run?

How is that "real" defined?

Dude lets be honest with ourselves, this team (as some would like to belive) is not a lock to make the playoffs, were 2 games over 500 and 4 games from the 9th spot...If we don't make the playoffs, poeple we surely be calling for the coach or the our GMs head, or both for the matter.

If we make it to the playoffs get swept ot lose in 5 games would it even matter that we extended or season for a week or 2. thats a fake playoff run (see the bucks 2010/2011 record)

What donnie has done, any GM (outside of thomas) was capable of doing..I heard Chris B with his own mouth( this morning) say MDA called thomas and had him talk with amare about meeting with the knicks.

I don't like thomas as a GM or coach, but make no mistake, he has more of an influence and personal relationships with NBA players then walsh and MDA have put together. Thats no secret.

I like donnie, don't get me wrong, but I would wait til the season is over before i give him anything

wow that seems new. Never heard it.

I have also heard Amare say that Thomas had zero impact on his decision and that he never talked with him. Zero, nada.

Papabear Says

That does not make it true. These players are good for hiding the truth. You even thought LeBron might come to New York.

Dude, Broussard was known as a Knick hater until a few months ago...He came on TV to say he doesn't hate the Knicks ...I'm not sure where u get the stuff u make up..really..

No...He said this on ESPN TV...Bro, the hate has just completely blinded you, what can I say...

No, he didn't.

No, he didn't.

NO, HE DIDN'T.

That clear enough?

Never did that. Ever. If you're going to keep making up asinine claims then post the link of him saying it. Otherwise no such moment exists. Stop trolling and find evidence or drop it.

And don't give me this video.

I think you need to prop up IT doing something good so you can feel better about supporting him and his players.

You can believe what you want, but Broussard has been riding Thomas for years.

Hope u are sitting for this one...It was MDA that contacted Isiah to intervene to get LeBron...not Dolan...

Good one.

holfresh..child2dudley is complete IT hater...anything related to IT is taboo..no one is defending IT or supporting him, facts are facts..

chris B along with evry media outlet covering the NBA disrespected the knicks up until this season, 90% of the LBj rumors were wrong..

The media has been giving us the impression IT is involve with the daily activities, i think it's all BS, and exaggerated..
