Given Moz's performance tonight, would you rather see him at 18/night or 30/night? I'm leaning towards 30/night...maybe we can work AR in elsewhere.

Bottom line is MDA needs to find him consistent minutes. I think match-ups will dictate the actual amount, as Detroit couldn't guard anyone out there. They had no answer for his size or his speed while slipping the pick and roll.

Beasting on the glass was the the real eye opener for me. The kid boxes out and seems to have good timing, for someone who sat from actual games for so long.

Imagine if... The big man we needed, was here all along.

the next game will be a good test of where Mozgov is really at... he's going up against a legitimate 7 foot big who can defend in Tyson Chandler... if he can hold his own in that game, it's looking like we got ourselves a starting calibre C finally.

A key is to NOT start him. I really believe that put him behind the 8 ball. Also Mosgov looked very confident in his J that's a great sign.

i agree, i don't think Mozgov was ready to start games to begin the season it was clear as day from game 1... i always felt he should have been eased into the starting role.

yup i don't want to get too excited yet but it's good to have him in the rotation even if it's not significant minutes. it just means Amar'e can get more rest.

There was a lineup that worked well last night, TD/Fields/Gallo/AR/Mosgov. That was one fast lineup that scored and defended well.
If this worked out it could give Stat and Felton more time to rest.

As long as we can run something like this, anything, where we get an adequate big man on the floor when Amare is out, and we don't have to ever witness the putrid line-up of TD + 4 wing players.

I agree, TD has looked terrible lately. Maybe he is more suited to run a traditional lineup, he seems to understand his role better.

What was interesting to me was that Gallo ran the offense with that lineup and got us some easy shots. Gallo really is just scratching the surface of his talent and if he stays aggressive i think we're looking at a T-Mac type player.

Makes a big difference when the second unit doesn't let the side down too.

Moz has 1 double digit rebounding stat-line for the season. Or you can say he has half as many as Brook Lopez does on the season.

Wow, I did not realize "Bro-Pez" was that impotent at rebounding!

I think we should relax a bit and remember this was just one game against Detroit.. Having said that, it was still an impressive performance and even if he does half that well in the remaining games it would be a huge help to the team

No doubt, but its still the NBA and Detroit has beaten some good teams of late.

The fact he did it at this level is a START.

Soon we can wish he was "more consistent".

Nalod, what is your issue against people who only hope to see steady improvements in our young players?

He's being realistic, I guess.

I'll only get excited when he shows consistency and delivers against top opponents, but you can't help but come away from the Detroit game thinking that Mosguv has a good deal of talent already in place, and that it is just a matter of time and confidence.

Moz played so well that Denver might re-think the trade with us and ask for Moz, Fields, Gallo....all 3 players who I want to keep.

Not happening.

I think some have unrealistic expectations and don't understand progress is also exibited but better play and that inconsistancy is part of the growth process.

Its to be expected a player cannot do these things all the time if they have never done them before.
