Agree with BRIGGS, kind of a ballsy move if Walsh is looking to get Melo via trade.
Basically says to Denver, "we are confident Melo is coming here one way or another and if you do want to deal with us as we approach that final hour....you will be negotiating against your old GM."
If Denver didn't want to deal with us before, this only makes it more humiliating for them if they do trade him here.
