In terms of the most valuable players for a franchise to have right now;
1-Wade (great leader, already a champ, clutch)
2-DWilliams
3-Rose
4-Lebron (best talent, but is a headcase in big games)
5-Rondo (incredible what he does for Boston, keeping all the old dudes happy)
6-Amare (has to stop avoiding fouls or he'll be off the list)
7-Howard (not higher because he can't shoot free throws, not clutch)
8-Durant
9-Melo
10-Aldridge (a younger, non euro Gasol)
Kobe,Dirk,KG,Nash are up there, but they're long in the tooth.
Griffin will blow out another joint soon and/or get caught for steroids. I'll wait out the hype on him.
Love looks like he stole the script to David Lee's career.
Johnson's very good, but who really knows how good. The team basically plays the same without him there.
Ellis, Gordon and Martin would be the toughest to rank. Lead guards on fairly bad teams.
Alan Hahn:
Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
