Have you not seen what Miami is doing? Once you have your Star players its very easy to add players. I think you guys are to worried about role players you can pick them up here and there. You get vets that sign for minimums, good young players are every where looking for an opportunity. Don't lose Melo, he is your last link to any kind of championship talk.

Deandre Jordan is breaking out now to an NBA impact player--if melo is traded--and Joirdan continues with extended minutes(and why wouldnt he?) he may end up the number 1 NBA FA on the market.

well crap, I am noticing that ESPN has Nick Collison as an UFA in 2011, which he is NOT. Not sure how reliable this list is, pretty close with maybe a few minor errors.

A) someone who can create their own shot from the guard position/wing

B) rebounding and interior defense SIZE.

I would address those needs by targeting:

A) OJ Mayo... I can't really think of anyone else on the market who helps us in this category.

B) This need can be addressed by several different guys. Here are the options I would pursue most strongly, in order:
1) Deandre Jordan
2) Nene
3) Javale McGee
