At some point, though, what's on paper will translate into reality.
If injuries don't become an issue- especially with Blake, I just think the Clippers have a bright future with the nucleus of young players they have on their roster.
If the Clippers decide to keep Jordan, Kaman may also have some value as an expiring contract next year- and would seem to be a good "rental" for a contending team.
I just see the franchise moving in the right direction, despite their history.
The problem isn't there talent, they have no leadership, no warriors, no direction (sound familiar)
By the time they develope their talent they will trade for more draft picks, because they won't be good enough to keep the core guys together, and as we have witness with our own team, stars don't just flock to teams with bad history, and a losing culture.
Even when they do manage to bring someone in, they either get hurt or there will be some hole some where else on the roster.
