You're talking about a bad, very bad tree here and I don't want the apples off that tree, I wouldn't even use that tree for firewood, to be perfectly honest.

No thanks.

bad tree? if anything all steph did was have a fight with coach and lost. steph played like a tank, never worried about him catching some injury. he just was not the franchise player we all hoped.

honestly of all the past players the one i dislike most, allan houston (he was never a franchise player either). ny wasted way too much time and money on h20.. end of rant.

Holy Crap. Did I read this right? You standing up for Dinglebury and dissing a Knick that has produced for the franchise? You blaming Houston for signing a contract offered to him by management?

houston produced exactly the amount that steph produced for the franchise, zero rings. allan houston was gifted a franchise player sum of $100 million six-year contract extension and all the knicks got for years was prayer circles and blown knees.

the Knicks don't make it to the '99 Finals w/o Allan Houston.

so? did the knicks win the '99? no. knicks dont suffer for years if not hobbled by houston's contract.

too bad god didnt tell houston to fug off, leave the knicks, and found a church (far) away from msg.

lol steph had funny public youtube moments off the court.

but he also had his good moments off the court, when he made a public stand to try to lower the price of basketball shoes for city kids. he did make a public stand when he saw the city of new orleans underwater, and donated one million of his salary.

steph was active in the community, even the clips you show with him boasting about Z (lol) where is he standing? i never seen allan any where in new york doing anything for any cause. hell i never even seen him stand around a mix crowd of new yorkers.

This. Time to move on from our Coney Island hagover.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

@Cheers: I don't remember Alan Houston intentionally derailing the team and losing games to prove he was right, do you?

When you give a NY point guard a mic when things aren't going the way he likes in his hometown, things instantly turn into a soap opera. Takes a strong team to keep that stuff on the back burner. I'd be comfortable with Telfair in NY if the Knicks could beat some elite teams without his help first. Wouldn't want to give Telfair that much leverage.
