Forty-eight years ago, Willie Naulls set a franchise record that Amar’e Stoudemire can match tonight when the Knicks face the Wizards: seven straight games with at least 30 points.

quite an impressive feat if Amare can pull this off tonight.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Yeah, I have to admit I was at a point of thinking LeBron wasn't who I wanted on the Knicks (before the decision) and was thinking of who I'd pair with Johnson (yikes!). Once he re-upped with Atlanta and it seemed Amare was the lure to try and get LeBron I was worried that the Knicks would be stuck with just Amare. I've always liked him and thought he was great, but I didn't have confidence in him. He has shamed us all. Even the folks that were nothing but supportive and happy about landing him couldn't have expected (and certainly didn't predict) that the STAT would elevate his game and floor presence. Right now he's the leading MVP candidate and the best of the 2010 FA class, whether anyone likes it or not.

The thought of Amare and Melo getting together still makes me weak in the knees. The two of them would compliment each other so much better than any combination of two from the Miami trio.
