Who's the better prospect right now? Mosgov or your boy Thabeet? Cause you once said 2 years ago Thabeet would add 20 wins to the Knicks.
Amigo you make some good observations, but my 7 year old son has 30x your patience.
Mosgov has shown more in his failures than in his success, because he's not ready yet keeps on busting it every night.
Nice post and I have to agree with you on Briggs not having any patience (this season that is). Last game Mos started to show his good hands again, like he had in FIBA. I think he was just nervous earlier in the year dropping all those balls.
Mos is often a blocking machine (in addition to being a foul machine at times.) Anyway, when he is able to play 20 minutes on the court, we are talking about him probably having 3 or 4 blocks quite regularly. He is just too much inside, especially as a help defender on penetrations.
I think Mos is going to develop into a nice player, but we got to be patient with him. That said, I trust what the coaches see in making our team better through trades. It's just that Mos' game fits our team. He is good at the P&R (though not lately), can hit the J (which we need in a center) which pulls him away so Amare can operate, and he is a force on defense. He just isn't skilled enough yet to stay on the court, but I think he is what we need in a center, just later this year or sometime next year. Now, in the meantime, maybe we make a trade but we have got to have faith in what they see in him and not go overboard. (Unless it's a trade for Gasol, which I I think I would take over Melo).
