He HAS been fouled on that type of shot before, but when guys are flying at him and when he COULD be fouled, he would usually side-step the opponent and maybe dribble to his left/right for an uncontested shot (and miss, especially during first few games this season).

This is a welcome change.

Good point. He would usually get the guy in the air, step to his left and then do that step back dribble for a 3 pointer that he would inevitably miss.

The Gallo pump fake is a beautiful thing.

I wonder if Clyde gave him some advice?

Maybe he just saw Louis Williams do it, and a light bulb went off in Gallo's head.

How about the Tim Duncan bank shot? From the angles he approaches the rim,it would be a thing of beauty.

Everyone on the bloody team should learn to use the backboard more. It is a major issue I have with Gallo, Amare, Mosguv, AR, and to a lesser extent, Turiaf (who rarely takes any shots).

They should have bank shot only segments in practice. Close off the paint, and keep guys in a circle about 14 feet from the basket and tell them the only way they can score is with the backboard.

John Wooden must be rolling in his coffin because of how players have forgotten the bank shot.

Wait, are these supposed to rhyme?
