franco12 - there is no such as thing as "teams we should beat" any more than games are marked down as guaranteed losses. That "teams we should beat" thing is for bookies and the guys who give them their hard-earned cash. "Teams we should beat" is more about fantasy leagues, point spreads and predictions, and much LESS about HOW a game is played.
There is no such thing as a winnable game. Was Miami a winnable game for Memphis last night? Of course not. You plays 'em one at a time and look for positive indications the roster is making better music.
It was not the six game losing streak that bugged The Answer Man. It was the strategic deployment of resources. It was the forced and frequent three point shots.
Enough with looking down the road and attempting to drive the cart before the horses get in step. Going into the next game against Charlotte, it is a pleasure to say our boys just finished a west coast swing against ANY set of teams at 3-1. If you need to demean the competition, then demean their asses. The Clippers were who we THOUGHT they were. That's why we took the court... and we DIDN'T let them off the hook!"
The Answer Man plays 'em one at a time.
