fishmike never likes to admit being wrong about anything but he has no problem calling people out at every opportunity... this is the same guy who wanted to sign David Lee to a 6 year extension this summer, wanted to trade for Gerald Wallace last year & draft Joe Alexander among other things... but i don't see people creating a separate thread to point these things out & calling him out for it... go figure.

David Lee for $10mm a year (he ended up signing for more) fishmike voted yes
wanting to trade for Gerald Wallace (I still do, dude's awesome!) fishmike voted yes
loved Joe Alexander in that draft (he got hurt and sucked) fishmike voted yes
I also loved Majec Lampe, I also thought Sweetney would be really good player.

Call me out! Thats what dudes (as opposed to little girls) do! Thats whats fun about hanging your ass out there as oohah (I cant ever beat him in an arguement) says! Because when your right you get to bust balls. When your wrong its time to suck it up.

Phucks sakes man, how can you let this stuff work you up? Step away from the keyboard and get some air.

You thought Sweetney would be a real good player? You big dummy!!!

whoa... I never said he would be THAT good. He had some nice post moves and a nose for ball on the glass. I did picture a 15/12 type guy who shot > 50% for a long time. Ate himself out of the league.

You are such a liar. I remember you going out of your way trying to convince people that he was teh next Elton Brand. Dude, you used to call me at home to get me to believe you. At one point you even came to my house and threatened to sleep with my wife if I did not go along with you. The next day, out of fear I was on the boards backing you up.

The truth is out my friend. NO longer will I be a victim to your threats.

I just hope that people will like me

Sadly(or happily, depends on who you ask), that little white dog passed away. We have since moved on to another little dog. This one brown. Doesn't bite or growl at me and actually allows me to pet him. He also hates the cat, so me and him get along famously.

I just hope that people will like me

Jrue also had a rep for being a good defender coming out of college and we needed that as well.

well you get credit for that one because you called. He seems like a pretty mature kid also. I always thought the MO behind the Douglas pick was it was very possible the Knicks were going to have like 4-5 guys left on a roster with 2 max players, and they really were going to need cheap guys who could play heavy minutes. You look at Douglas he's a 4 year CBB player, 20ppg scorer, played both positions, older, has elite quickness and ACC defensive player of the year. He may never be a star (I like the Bobby JAckson comparison) but he looked tailor made ready to play and a cheap cap hit way down there in round 1

Using the same logic though I thought Curry would be a bust, so I'm certainly no draft guru. The "wingspan" guys from that class were Jrue and Derozan. I thought the Knicks should have taken one of them.

Larry Sanders is the ultimate "wingspan" guy and tore up the Summer League. I'm waiting to see what he does, but he hasn't been doing anything special so far.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Scott Skiles must hate rookies What is up with Sanders and how come he isn't playing? Thought he would see rotation minutes off the bench.

TD has a big wing span and is fast. Great combo for his role.

I will say, I never thought that having a shot blocking front line would change the defensive equation so much that having a 6' SG would be acceptable for long stretches during these games.

CP turned over 3X and had only 6 assists in 33 minutes and Bayless 4 TO's 0 assists in 11. Jennings had 3 TO's Yet NO had 17 assists as a team and won. Because everyone moved the ball

and of course the 10 for 12 by West

Sorry to hear about your little white dog (Maltese?). I thought you loved the cat though. Did it hiss at Don Chaney or Larry Brown? :-P

The cat in its old age, turned on me. I'm ready for a completely new set of animals. The Brown Dog(Brownie as he is called) is a solid replacement. Now the cats days are numbered. Frigging thing. For the first time in my life I bought myself a new expensive carpet for the living room. He tore the thing to shreds. It's tough to remain on Bips list, but biting, hissing and destroying household items is a good way to solidify your placement. It's similar to what you used to do.

The little white dog was actually a toy Eskimo or something like that. Those dogs have been terrorizing people worldwide. Worse then Pit Bulls if you ask me.

hey... he's 6'2 with a 6'8 wingspan lets not sell him short. Its really his speed that makes him so effective. The thing with Douglas is he will get a hand in your face when you shoot, and you better take care of that ball.

Now we just need to fix this offense because these guys still cant run the P&R and we settle for way too many jumpers
