Damn it, its really not a big deal guys, 50 points is gravy, our backcourt is solid, for once. Please don't ban Kam, he is one of the few who consistently crack me up.

You only see it as an opportunity to diss The Answer Man.

So this guy can insult posters directly by speaking in the third person and the moderators approve?

While all i asked if there was a point to his rambling incoherent post and I get the traffic ticket / slap on the wrist?

Show me what part of the forum etiquette was broken by my post? And look at "The AnswerMan's" post making fun of people who are bi-polar.

That's a KG type crack. Are you bi-polar? I know people who are bi-polar.

I agree about the 'Answer Man'. I find a level of smugness barely tolerable and his replies disappear when you post numbers and facts in response to his voice of perspective that always has smug overtones if you don't agree with him. I think Kam is a great contributor to the forum. I might have missed something but the Answer Man is a poster that has tempted me to violate forum etiquette in the past with his unjustified smugness and disappearing acts when you respond to his 'voice of reason' with facts and numbers. I disagree with a lot of the posters on this forum but I respect them because they are passionate about the team that I root for more than any other in sports. I am not sure how a forum member gets banned. Maybe a probationary period needs to be put in place unless there is one that I am not aware of.

dude, I had asked you to move along from this thread politely, and then followed it up more directly. Andrew had a pretty good explanation about the 50 point literal that really wasn't so if you had read the first post.

And you think that is censorship? And complained that it was happening and now request that I what, censor a post? make up your mind.

BTW, it's pretty obvious you are a waste of time. Enjoy Elba.

Are you really serious with this...i thought you just ignore some post, keep it moving until it's worth it.

Color the backcourt Scrappy

"We have everyone working on the same page," Douglas said. "Our mindset all day was, 'We're not going to lose this game.'"

Felton and Douglas are creating a new personality for the K icks and setting the tone for others to follow. It is their leadership that sets them apart from the talented but troubled Marbury... The ultra athletic but immature Nate... and the mercurial yet inconsistent Crawford.

Shooting accuracy and highlights will come and go, but effort is an every day thing

"I want to be a top defender," (Douglas) said. "Nothing on the offensive end -- because that's going to come. I'm not worrying about that. Make sure we'll be one of the top defensive teams in this league and also from an individual standpoint, work on my defense off the ball. I'm good on the ball, but keep working on my defense off the ball."

When was the last time the Knicks had three guards who were better thinkers?

2nd that... good writing and 100% true. I think the leadership of Amare is really showing. While his shot hasnt been great and he's struggled with the TOs he's picked it up in other areas, namely defense, taking charges and blocking shots.

When you fight on defense on every possesion you will be in every game, and inferior teams (we have another today) will wilt under the pressure

Veterans Day

These new Knicks are still settling into new roles.

The Rookie Who Plays Like a Veteran, Landry Fields, and Toney Douglas (Who Do What A Veteran Do) share the backcourt with another veteran who must be the infantry leader dude from the opening tip who chants "follow me."

Of the three, Fields is shooting a blazing 56 per cent from the field. Get him more shots and find out if he can maintain a respectable percentage.

The Answer Man likes all three.
