Jordan Hill(notes) has moved ahead of Brad Miller(notes) as Yao’s primary backup and averaged 26 minutes, 8.3 points, 6.3 boards, and 2.3 blocks over the past three games. Deep-leaguers in need of big-man stats, take note.

He moved past a 38 year old center ready for retirement in the rotation. Good job.

Miller is 34. He also was targeted by Houston in free agency and Chicago wanted to keep him.

I think the other reason Miller was passed by Hill is that Miller is incredibly out of shape.

I know the prevailing practice is to discount Hill, the minutes he is getting and the numbers he is putting up. He is also playing ahead of Patrick Patterson. He is doing something right and I hope Knick fans are not wishing him bad luck.

damned if you do, damned if you dont.... If Hill stinks who cares about trading him, oh wait, Walsh blew the pick. If he plays great that trade sucks, Walsh blew the pick!

In 9th grade Emily dumped me and really hurt my feelings. Maybe we can talk about that too?

Why don't we talk about back up point guards.

always felt this kid only needed a chance & he could put up some numbers... 8 / 6 / 2 in 26 min off the bench isn't bad considering he's never really been given regular playing time til now... if Mozgov were putting up that type of production i'd be more than satisfied & so would everyone else but somehow if Jordan Hill is doing it it's only because he's playing ahead of some 38 yo hasbeen... of course you will have certain people try & discount any kind of production he puts up to make themselves feel better about what we gave up in the trade no matter what, but i'm rooting for him to do well cuz he always seemed like a good kid to me.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I've seen a Houston game this season (I forgot against who) and Jordan Hill didn't look that good to me. Mosgov is a much smoother athletic player. Hill stats wise seems to be a better rebounder but his arms seem short to me.... anyway if you ask me who would I prefer, Jordan or Mosgov, I'd definitely prefer Mosgov.

In any case, the trade was bad in hindsight, but results do matter. Houston is doing really bad right now and we're doing better than them. So there.

Rose is not the answer.
