1 - everyone discusses issues like adults. No matter what the affiliation or allegiance is. People put aside artificial concerns over marketing, money, ego and popularity and talk content and character.

#1 most of us do that everyday.

#2 what does that have to do with what I wrote. I'm just trying to educate you on the blogosphere. Being provqctive and ruffling feathers is part of bermans schtick. Its what gets you guys to read and respond. This isn't some accidental bitter man who needs someone to educate him on the err of his ways. This is a smart, calculated guy who knows if he throws stephon marbury, isiah thomas or knicks are doomed, into a title you will read and enjoy. They read boards like this. They get the general feel of their reading audience and give them exactly what they want, whether it upsets them or not. Glenn beck doesn't change his approach even though millions of people criticize and write letters to him everyday. These letters of outrage are as much a part of his success as those that agree with him. Berman is no different. He looooooooves the attention. He's no different then the rest of the post columnists,hired to be provacative.

Now if you are implying that I am retreating and throwing bombs.......I am doing no such thing. I just don't feel that berman is a good writer. He does not interest or entertain me. He does not cause me to think in any way. Now since I am a busy guy and prefer to read those things that entertain, inform or cause me to think, I simply ignore those things that do not. Too many other better sources out there for that.

Do you feel someone is telling you not to voice your opinion? No one is telling you that, just that there are other ways to express your opinion and power then the insult letter. What's the end sum of your thread.that you taught berman something? That you just wanted to get something off your chest? This post seems to be going in odd directions. What I saw was you wrote a letter to a guy that writes for a living and insulted his methods. Others wrote him and did the same only not quite as eloquently and much more vulgar. My question is what is the end game for you guys? The joy of a response or to see him change his ways? I'm Willing to bet that mark will change his ways. Hell write some articles that go right along with what you guys want. Then a month from now when you are sucked in, right when you least expect it, he's going to zing everyone again, and bask in the response.

not criticizing him, not insulting him as a matter of fact I'm not even giving an opinion on his methods. Just trying to give you some insight. Take it for what you will. As a former player and coach I've seen these guys in action. They know exactly what they are doing.
