My reasoning is that I don't want him on the floor taking any time away from the other guys.
Simple as that. I want to see Amare, AR, Turiaf, Mosgov, handling the 4 and 5 spots and Gallo and Chandler can step in if need be. Let's let these guys play. We know what we'd be getting in Jeffries, and I just don't want to see any more of it.

But that being said........ Who is the better asset Curry expiring at 11 mil or Jeffries expiring

Jeffries was never our problem. Just his contract. If it expires, so what. He is more useful than Eddy.

We are definitely in the minority sharing that opinion. There seem to be some sort of amnesia or revisionist history going on here because Jarad was not a problem. His first two were hampered by injuries but he got healthy and became productive defensively. Hate the contract he was given but devaluing a player without justification....based on ????
