I'm not going to lie. I'm still pissed and hurt over 'The Decision'. Hard to get excited and pumped up over a 40 win team when we could have been a 60 win team and a title contender the next decade.

Can't believe it's so close- this offseason has been the most entertaining and event filled that I can remember- from the build up to the Lebron decision and the Miami backlash, to the lee trade, the FA signings, the Rudy rumours, Melo rumours, the Mosgov mania of the world- it's been fun for a change and i'm actually genuinely looking forward to this season as oppose to pretending to myself that I'm exited about the team, which has been the case the past few years.

This can be a 55 win team. I don't g a flying F about LBJ--he did what he wanted to do--thats that--he was never coming here. I like the potential of both our offense and our defense. How many teams have our speed length and depth upfront---not many. We have two defensive PG who can play some a 25 point post scorers multiple double digit scorers shot blocking etc... this team is capable of being very good.--it has great defensive capabilities. 55 wins might be over the top, but somewhere between 43 and 48 wins sounds reasonable to me. We have some real nice talent, and if it blossoms this season and meshes together, we might be on the higher end of that spectrum. For the sake of balance, I'm predicting we'll go 45-37.

I think guys like Gallo Randolph Chandler and Douglas are all ready physically to break out a bit--they are young and hungry--we have a nice mesh of youth and vets--very much like what we just saw with team usa. If we stay away from taking 30 3 s and play very hard D really emphasize d--then this team will be very good quick. I almost would rather have a D coach like skiles with this group because I think we can lock down opponents with the guys we have.
