Lineup

PG- Felton
SG- Chandler
SF- Gallo
PF- Stoudemire
C- Turiaf

Bench
SG/SF- Azubuike
PG/SG- Douglas
SF/PF/C- Randolph
SG/SF- Walker

Wild Card Player-
C- Curry- I think he may crack the rotation some nights for 15-20 mpg if there's a good matchup for him. Use him as offensive weapon. The guy is basically playing for his NBA career and his bankrupt. If he can't get himself on the floor he's gonna be in some trouble. I think he'll find a way to be useful.

46-36 record

This looks like a .500 team that will fight for one of the last 2 playoff seeds. It will all depend on whether or not they commit to playing team defense and rebound.

For that we wasted 2 years and traded away 3 more first round picks.

If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

I think Curry is going to play for a new contract and his trade value peak at the deadline and Walsh will have to decide is it fools gold and trade him or consider that he may have changed his ways and keep him.

Curry is going to sprain his vag during training camp. No point in him being in the SL.

That was a good one.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

there are a lot of wild cards on this team and pretty much all are positive.

At the worst you have a quality PG who is a tough, heady, 2 way player and legit floor general. You have Gallo and Chandler who were solid last year and getting better and you have Amare to anchor the frontcourt. That group should produce a .500 or close to .500 type team.

BUT

you have Anthony Randolph who is a truly versatile 3/4/5 combo player who is huge, insanely athletic and skilled. You have some very athletic guys in Azu and Turiaf coming off injuries. You have this big Russian kid who is an undeniable athlete and size at 7'1. Douglas gives you great defense and scoring off the bench.

If these guys pan out and gell look out. If Felton explodes in the uptempo MDA offense look out.

The only thing I see that can derail this team from being pretty good is a long injury to Felton. He's just too valuable to the system to lose.

pg Felton - an upgrade both offensively and defensively but I wish we had a solid backup. Douglas is potentially a nice player but not a pg.
sg Chandler - I liked him here last year but think he's not as well suited without a point forward. Not sure he's enough of a play maker.
sf Gallo - I think he'll be a better scorer this year but with our lack of play makers and questionable rebounding he'll need to improve in both these area's also.
pf Amare - Better scorer and defender then Lee. Lesser rebounder and passer. An upgrade but we'll miss Lee's ability to help run the offense and sweep the boards.
C Turiaf (I guess) - Lots of options here but all have large question marks. Turiaf has not played big minutes and is coming off an injury. Randolph has to overcome lack of strength and develop consistency. Who really knows anything about the Russian and we know way too much about Curry.

Harrington, Nate, Jefferies, Duhon - all flawed players but won't go totally unmissed. I really don't like Al's or Nate's games but they did provide scoring. Jefferies at times contributed a lot on defense. Duhon - is not a starting pg but would be a nice backup.

We have a lot more size but not sure if we have a good rebounding team or not. I think Felton is a big upgrade at point guard but I don't think we have a great passing team - at least until some of these guys develop.

I'm hoping for 40 wins. I think the Knicks will get off to a slow start and will improve as the team becomes more cohesive, the young guys figure out the league and MDA figures out what he has.

I think anywhere from 40 to 48 wins is possible.

Felton 1
Chandler 2
Gallinari 3
Randolph 4
STAT 5
But the frontcourt positions dnt really matter because they'll be based on match ups on a night to night basis

Masgov once ran a marathon backwards to see what second place looked like...
