Hell, I was one of the people hesitant about him, and had all kinds of arguments about him and Gallinari, but much of that had to do with my belief that he was immature and that his game did not see seem to fit into what MDA was trying to do with the Knicks- it had nothing to do with the raw talent he possesses.
I still want to see how he is going to fit in. I think that everybody wants to see if he can finally get settled down on the court and be a 35 MPG player who is able to deal with the ups and downs of the game without sulking or a drop in his performance.
And in the back of everybody's mind is the hope that if Randolph finally "gets it," and Gallo continues along the path that I, and others, think will lead him to become an All-Star quality player in the NBA, we have the makings of a front line that will be able to compete with anyone in the league for the next 10 years, barring injury.
