its easy to like a coordinated young man with wonderful skills but add that to coming from a military family with the discipline usually found in kids from that sort of background and one has to wonder why Nellie would let him go for a short term fix.

Randolph is like a 7 foot version of Rajon Rondo. I am SO excited for this guy. F the Queen! Knicks have been underdogs for 30 years this guy will fit in this city perfectly. He can handle, insane shot blocker, I am real excited.

I'd like to see Randolph develop his jump shot. He's already a good foul shooter and that's a good sign that he can hit from outside.

When the last time we seen our own player make Kobe look like this ?

He gives it all he has and will become a crowd favorite, move over John Starks, this kid is going to do it all.

Remember Randolph doesnt even turn 21 to later this month. I think that if he did not get hurt--he would not be a Knick. He was out of site out of mind like Gallo year 1. It says he has grown to over 7 feet tall and over the next year or so his body will mature to peak. He has a lot of talent--kind of like a Camby/Odom combo. I like Livingston to be our PG--I think he is the guy who can LEAD + make our guys BETTER--I really believe that. He fits with what we have going on.

If Randolph can get strong enough to play Center than this will make up for that sucky 2010 draft.

I don't think he is around much longer. I think if Walsh goes D'Antoni will have to face a lot of scrutiny that Walsh deflected away from him in the past. He has done nothing so far and supporters of his say this is his year to start judging his coaching. If the Knicks come out of training camp this year and go 1-9 they need to fire him.

Certainly the heat gets turned up big time, but you don't fire a coach in this type of situation. You can't expect much in the way the record over the past 2 years. I think MDA could have played the young kids a LOT more but it is what it is.

IMHO, He gets the full year to show what he can do. After that...

I love this kid. Love his game, his energy. He's going to be a Camby for us, but better on offense.

Great highlights. Randolph will be a Garden favorite. He just has to be consistent.

i think we've coveted randolph for a bit...

i do recall more than a few rumors that we were interested in dealing for him over the past two seasons...

and kam reminded me that walsh was torn between he and gallo in then '08 draft..

this was a very good deal for us, i think

what you have to credit walsh with is, i think, that with lee and amar'e he managed to work out sign and trades that were beneficial to the knicks' needs...

so far, it seems, only the knicks have worked sign and trades -- again, both favorable to knick needs -- with the biggest fa's on the market.

is t-dot getting anything? cleveland? utah?

we got some niece pieces for lee + more cap space next year and lowered our cap figure with the amar'e deal, allowing some more wiggle room...

Forum Po Po and #33 for a reason...

Briggs that is the honest truth, if he didn't get hurt and nellie wasn't his coach we would have never had a chance to snag this type of player.

This is not a community pick , but he's destined to become a crowd pleaser very quickly and the knicks community will be pleased !!
