I'm an Ellis fan... I thought he was brilliant when the Warriors took out Dallas and I think he's a fast, efficient offensive player

Reported as Kelenna, Turiaf, Randolph.

I'll take it and be happy

Ellis efficient? I just disagree totally.

We are better off without that headcase here.

He has a high volume of shots and his percentages were down last year...

bottomline is hey plays for the Warriors and he and Curry are too similar. I think he'd be great here, especially with a playmaking 2 like Mike Miller

Great that we're not losing Lee for nothing, but the best we can do?

Cleveland talking to Minny about Flinn. No chance we could S&T Lee there for one of their PGs?

Anybody hear anything about Randolph's progress regarding his injury?

Turiaf is a good shot blocker also. I haven't heard about Randolph's recovery but I am just glad they are keeping him in the trade and not substituting Ellis.

Went on GS RealGM- someone said he has gained some weight and is working on improving in the areas where he is weaker.

If we end up with Randolph and he and Gallo get stronger, we will have some amazing length on the team with those two guys and Amare.

I will say this, though, some on the GS forum are not that unhappy about losing Randolph. Mixed feelings for him. Some love, but also some impatience.

yeah I think they should get a bit more... maybe a swap option on whatever pick we end up and being able to swap that with GS pick

Franco----Im telling you amare Randolph and gallo is going to be a nightmare match up--we did the right thing--we added three shot-blockers --one with a lot of upside one with nice upside and one with great heart.

I feel good about this

F Anthony Randolph (torn ligaments, left ankle) is expected to start working out early in the offseason and should be at full speed well before training camp.

• F Kelenna Azubuike(notes) (torn patella tendon) had surgery May 12 and should be ready for training

AR is going to be a stud. I believe that.

I agree - I like the makeup - Donnie stocking bigs like he did in Indiana.

We desperately need a lead guard though.

Had a few other ideas for an S&T which I liked btter but I think this is a good start towards building the team depth. Still have space for a few other players and next summer.

Im down with this--I think we are going to be much better defensively and we havent lost anything offensively. Now be patient with the other 14---be opportunistic but give DW a lot of credit--right now he gets a B[85/100] and that could go to an A-92/100] if he can somehow pop us a PG not named Ridnour[he did miss one in the draft]

i think most of us owe dolan an apology. I don't think this is an Eastern Conference Finals Contender yet, but its a great young upside. How much money do we actually have left. Would it be better to spend it on one player if its like 7m on Felton or try to get 2 players like Ridenor and Earl Barron. I think we still need at least one more body but also need another PG as well. Whats your opinion guys?
Im especially happy for briggs, he gets his wet dream here =)
not a knock on gallo, but Lopez would be nasty if he was here instead. Gallo is tough but how much better is than from a cheap sharp shooter like delfino, stojakavic, mike miller, etc. Anyway, im happy with the new players. Will be an interesting year and if the players stay healthy I think we can attract more players to want to come to New York baby!

the 2009 draft is the biggest mistake in this process.

i have no problem with the jordan hill trade - the problem was drafting him in the first place. if we had jennings right now?

Jennings
Chandler
Gallo
AR
Amare

Amare and Turiaf give us some toughness we have not had in a long time. Throw in Jordan as another shot blocker. With Amare, Turiaf, Randolph, Chandler, Gallo, and hopefully Jordan, we have a pretty good core in the middle if everyone stays healthy.

Feel a lot better with this as a fallback plan, and we really aren't losing anyone we expected to be on the team to do it.

How are we not going to be any worse offensively?
Didn't we just lose our offensive players: Harrington, Lee and Nate and replace all their scoring with just Amare?

Think about this--how much did the Raptors for Bosh? I wonder if we got a small TPE out of this?

Not only that, but if Isola is right, he might re-hire Isiah.

And then how about we round things off by taking a chance on Shaun Livingston for the PG slot? I'm presuming Washington no longer needs him, so he might be worth taking a chance on at the right price- how come no one seems to be mentioning him lately?
