that's what i'm sayin... i don't think he's going to MIA otherwise all 3 of them would have made a huge splash announcement tomorrow at the same time... Lebron probably told those guys his plans so they went ahead with theirs.
Not announcing he chose the Heat at the same time as the other two makes him look like a follower who realized he could not go it on his own and had to follow the other two.
I will respect him if he goes to the Cavs, the Knicks, or even the Nyets, but as the Russian said, his legacy will be diminished if he chooses the Heat, and I'm going to see him in a very different light.
Paladin55 have you not seen enough of Lebron in crucial finals games where he would pass the ball off or miss FT's at crunch time ?
That's who he is , he a TRIPLE THREAT MANIAC in the reg season and the early Rds in the playoffs, but after that he needs help, he doesn't have ice in his veins like a Kobe or Pierce etc... That's not who he is now. He's knows this more than anybody .
I agree that Lebron needs help but people saying Kobe is a killer and Lebron is not is a joke. Kobe has played with much much better teams than Lebron ever has. Kobe was not the man on the fist three championship teams Shaq was finals mvp all 3 times. People are quick to forget when Kobe did not have a great team he pulled the game 7 choke job vs the Suns in 2006. What happened in the 2004 finals they lost to the Detroit Pistons in 5 games and in 2008 he choked against a superior Celtic team. Lebron has never played with a player as good as Gasol or Shaq or ever Odom . Put Kobe on the teams Lebron has had and Kobe wins nothing , sure they make the playoffs but no rings. Kobe is a great player but he has been surrouned by all stars ever since he first came into the league and that is a fact.

RIght now I dont think it would happen because they would've announced it together, not let Lebron be the only in the spotlight like this. These are egos we are talking about.
I'd think working a s&t for Bosh removes Miami from the Bron sweepstakes.
That means Wade and Bosh could get 6 year deals and Bron settles only for 5? And all indications are that Miami and Toronto are have continued to strike a deal. Even with max money, there's no way he could get the same deal as his counterparts in terms of years, correct?
What am I missing here?

Early in his show I heard him say the things I put on my original post for the thread.
About 10 minutes ago, a guy who was listening to the show when I was calls up and asks about the comments that caused me to start this post. Doherty says that he did not make the comment. The caller says-didn't you say you had some sources who said that James was coming here- that it was a done deal- you said it around 7 PM. Doherty says no- he did not say anything like that. The guy then says something to the effect of- oh I though I heard... and he hangs up. Doherty asks some guys in his studio, but they are no help.
So this entire thread is based on a guy who just might be senile.
Sorry folks.

yeah, bill daughtry retracts his statement because he works for espn and they want to have the shocking conclusion to the saga tomorrow. meanwhile, steven a. smith is getting bogus rumors fed to him because of the story he ran on iverson last year. major major backlash from that. he violated. now he's being set up to look like a fool.
