All of you haters just proved you don't know nothing about bball. Lenny Wilkins is not a great coach, however, he is a good coach. Eons better then Chaney. OK man. You and ur buddies who u talk to are right. Lenny Wilkens is a bad coach.

wilkens will be judged just like any other coach, with his record. So far his record is pretty good. He's had one horrible year in 29 as a head coach! Chaney has had about 5 in 7 years! Big Difference!

As for Wilkens style, I am a little concerned with the laid back style. I have said that chaney was too laid back for this bunch. BUT, I think with a real PG aboard now, NY CAN PLAY A MORE UPTEMPO Style. They can scrore 95-100 a night, consistently and Wilkens will HELP the OFFENSE!

As for defense, Wilkens will understand matchups better and know when to play the zone and when not to.

Getting the Knicks to defend and hustle every night is his charge and his weakest points too. That being said, he knows how to handle the Vets.

Ny will finish 40-42 this season.

Herb? Defense? I love Herb but no one ever mistook his post defensive presence for Bill Russell. Good man-good offense-great leader-but not noted for his defense

Lenny will be lucky to go 5-5 the next ten games. Has he seen watching the knicks play lately? NO.... that is why zeke will use him like a puppet to coach from the GM position like I said.
