I have seen people saying he is Chandler's replacement on this very board. D'Antoni plays a tight rotation so Landry isnt going to get any burn this year anyway. I dont see why we couldnt have reached on some Euro's with these picks instead of wasting them. Every year their are SF's who are available in the 2nd round.

You are taking people too literally. I think the intent is that people see him as a similar type of player, and that could eventually be a replacement for Chandler if he were traded.

I would have also gone for a big man with one of the picks - namely Jordan. I'm a little nervous about Whiteside's passing after our experience with Eddy.

we got Jordan though. i agree we needed size and i hope donnie tried to get hassan whiteside. but i'm happy they made the move to get Jordan.

You do realize that there are reports that Jerome Jordan is headed to NY right?

As far as I read he is headed to NJ--I have read nothing but BS that he is coming to NY. and even if he is he shouldve been picked ahead of Rautins--rautins shouldve been a later pick if that is what we did . I highly doubt Rautins would be picked.

hey briggs, i saw that report about the nets too but it's not legit. jordan will be sent to the knicks for 1mill on monday after maggette passes his physical.

As a college player, Fields scored well, rebounded well and played good d. That's not bad for a second round pick.

This dude is 1 year away from being 2 years away from being a decent NBA bench player. We could have gotten this guy out of the D-league.

Who said Dolan is trying to win now ? MDA and Walsh have big contracts to be puppets while Jimmy Dolan digs us further into the grave as a franchise.

Agree on Whiteside. We are paying the Bucks $1M for Jordan- we could have payed $2 M for Whiteside.
