I like KVH and I think he can fit well with Marbury and help this team. He hits the offensive boards well, and can run and finish. When his shot is on he is very difficult to defend, as he has shown in recent weeks. I also like the idea of a big frontline. With KVH, Mutumbo and Thomas in there we have the top rebounding frontline in the East. His D is not the best, but IMO he has shown quick hands this year and has anticipated passing lanes better than I thought. His D looked fine when we were playing good team defense vs. Miami and Orlando etc. Obviously he's not the best one on one defender, but I don't think he's been quite as bad as billed.
I've stated my reasons on this numerous times, but I just don't think Rasheed would work here. He hasn't played a low post game in 4 seasons. He seems all to eager to shoot the 3's and not worry about not getting foul calls in the post. The guy goes to the liens less times than Allan Houston. If that is not a red flag I don't know what is. He seems to have lost any agression that was once in his game, and IMO he lost it before Randolph started to come around.
That being said, if KVH can be traded for real value...somoene that I'd be more interested in, than I'd listen. But I have to see/read the players involved. As of now I haven't heard anyone other than Wallace, and that is not enticing to me.
